Idiots! I just can't deal with them.
I had posted on FB marketplace, advertising a brand new, never used, Amika, ceramic curling iron. $40, (listed at $70 at Sephora). I get the message: "how's the heat?"!
I almost typed: hot.
Instead I just hit, "sold". I'll take this thing to my grave before I deal with idiots. I don't need the money, just wanted it out of here, thought it would be a good deal for someone.

Drizzly and windy here, DH is trying to encourage Jenny to go for a walk, lol...but it's so funny, he puts her harness on her and she faces the door like a pointer, not moving a muscle, no movement at all, tail straight up and even if he walks away fir a second or two, she just won't move! Ah, Doxies are too cute! Weird, but cute.

I'll say my " good mornings " now as my day will be a busy getting our Thanksgiving feast on the table. I went all out ( again ) this year. I wanted to skirt traditional and trying something " completely different " .....as long as the meal doesn't turn out to be a Monty Python comedy I'll be thrilled.
Had to start with a soup, so this year I made a pumpkin/black bean/quinoa number when served each bowl gets garnished with a slice of avocado and a wee wedge of fresh lime. Doesn't that visual just make you all giddy??

It's all in the prep right? I'm a stickler for having as much done a day ahead so that soup was made yesterday, peeled, cut the colourful fall veg, made the bread/sausage stuffing in a large roast pan.... sans bird! ) in fact there will be NO actual whole turkey going in my oven, instead I flattened numerous turkey breast pieces, then filled and rolled into bundles to be cooked in the Air Fryer!!
I bought a small duck that will be roasting soon in the oven, made the cherry sauce for it last night.
Too many other things are on this menu, I had to make a second batch of pumpkin Biscotti last night because the first batch I made " disappeared! " .......so clearly Dr. Poon is NOT invited to dinner....ha ha

Just saying hi and have a good Monday tomorrow. I’ll be out all day from 10am till very late. I’ll even be one of the people watching the vote count at one of our voting locations at 9.30pm. Went to the gym tonight for 30 mins because I won’t tomorrow. However I then ate some chips and a chocolate bar lol.

I will just say that if the Conservatives win tomorrow, I will take the next flight to Antarctica- it's coming to summer there and I don't think that there is ANY government there to lie to me. Sorry for being political and good night.

Just finished exercise class at the Y- off to St. Jacob's to do an errand and have some lunch. Then home to make some appointments and tidy up. We can vote in our building after 4 until 9. It's a nice sunny day with a bit of a breeze.
