LMAO, thank you @GoJays . Thank you
Good morning gang.
Working from home today.
Did not feel like driving through the snow, which is now here...into the city, which was already hit with the snow...
Did not want to deal with stoooooopid drivers...
So, I did not get up when my alarm went off and I didn't not drive in.
Done.
Coffee made. Work to be done.
Have a wonderful day folks!DANGER

Good morning all
No school here . My DD said it was a very slow driver for her. Will be going out to get my work out for the day by shovelling my driveway and clean the patio so my Thor can get his business done . No walks for him today since . His paws get super cold and the snow stick on to his fur.
Take it easy and be careful everyone on the road and cleaning the snow

Good thing there are always great posts/memes in here that keep me in giggles ( ty @GoJays @Lynn49 ) because the Leafs are draining my spirit!! When DH views the highlights of the game after he gets in from work, it's like shoving salt in the wound....grrrr! Yeah they lost, ( again ) but I shouldn't talk about all the stuff they did wrong....like letting the Rangers score twice in 6 seconds just before the first period ended!!
I'll breathe deeply and let it go once again.
SO...there's a word.....add an " n " and a " w " and we have SNOW! I decided to remain indoors today once I saw what had fallen along the walkway. No real urgent errands to get done, maybe it'll melt before physio tomorrow?
Oh btw, it took a while for me to find the artist you posted about @Lynn49 but i voted for her! Her entry was way, way down so the scrolling had me concerned, but eventually I was able to play her song. Cute entry.
@Natalka oy...those coband bandages and your most recent issue with the blisters is not what you wanted I'm sure BUT lets hope for fast healing! That was a gorgeous photo of the ginger cat peeking out from a barn with the ice swirls overhead!
Carry on @danger_dan ( working from home ). Brew up some nice java and stay in pj's to work!Last edited by walkonby; Thu, Feb 6th, 2020 at 10:29 AM.

Good day one&all! and thank you for the warm welcome back into the fold
I have been lurking in the background as I have been technologically challenged and am not the smart in smartphone which one of my kids passed down to me.I only found out yesterday that there are somethings that are best not done with one,so I don't feel as dumb as I have been! I now have a replacement cord for my laptop so I'm a happy camper!
I had some minor surgery last week and am dealing with other health concerns so I'm laying low.Patience is definitely not a virtue of mine but good to be back here!Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

Voted again.
This morning my bod was still quite sore - especially my lower back which the physiotherapist had worked on a lot.
Felt okay after brekkie and all morning. However, I am really nauseated now, so I will go to bed for a while.
Such a majestic lynx!

Hello! Welcome back, @Skippy !
I am sorry to say that I gave up after 40 minutes of looking for Hannah, @Lynn49 , only to find later that I could just type her name at the top and Viola!
So, the Junos are in Saskatoon! So we'll all have to scoot out there to see @Lynn49 's friend, once she wins and then scoop you up @Natalka , to come with us.!
I went out today to take coffees and hot chocolates to picketing teachers. I found my BrotherB at his site but couldn't see my DSIL at her site. I did have a supportive talk with 4 very young and enthusiastic teachers, though, and passed along a lot of sweets that have been tempting me. Achieving 2 good things at once.
I have signed up to do a free 21 day meditation with Depak Chopra and tangentially, Oprah. We're on Day 4 and it is so relaxing. If nothing else, I am sitting down and being quiet for 20 minutes a day. I was so relaxed today that I fell asleep. There's a quiet little bell that signals the end. The headache that I had before I started has, indeed, gone away.
I did take Transcendental Meditation when I was at university in my "hippie" days, and could still do it, if I thought about it.
Enjoy your evening, folks. Get ready for the large dump of snow down south here. Take care!
