Well it will be an early shopping morning again! I will see if the TP hoarders are out in full swing also and stay clear!

Good morning!!
@GoJays , thank you...I do feel quite stupid with those falls, but I just thank heaven that I didn't do more damage to myself than I did.
@avoncallingu , bubble-wrap would be most welcome and, it seems, necessary. I do have quite a bit of pain on the inside of my left wrist, and wouldn't be surprised if our doc called and told me I had a fracture. I can't use it much if it requires my using it with any pressure, like opening medicine bottles with pain pills in them, haha...or jars, or buckling up my seatbelt in the car...I hope it's okay and that all he'll tell me is to wrap it and to put my big-girl panties on and wait for it to heal. He'll only call if there's a problem, I imagine.
I have to do a painting for our DD's b'day for next Friday and since this will be in acrylics instead of watercolours, it'll need drying time. I doubt I'll have time to resin it, dang it. But....we'll see. I just hope it turns out. We bought her a really nice gold Minnie Mouse watch at WDW that she can wear at camp, etc...and a watch-box from Amazon arrived yesterday.
Ok! Off to my "studio" downstairs!
Take good care, everyone!!!

oh it is lovely to see your sense of humour is still spot on @Lynn49 Good luck with your brush strokes today!!
I wore a pair of clear disposable gloves out this morning for my both of my Dr. appts, and kept them on even while doing some shopping tasks. The looks I got.....but I care not!
In my head I was singing " duh, da da duh duh....my....my..... my..... eyee oh!! My Carona! "
ha ha
Oh and shocker of all shockers! NF was selling half sized bottles ( 8 oz. ) of hand sanitizer for $7.00 !!!
Gas goes down and hand sanitizer skyrockets! I asked my Dr. when they speak about those at high risk for Covid19 ,
say " the elderly " for example ....am I in that group?
He chuckled and said " look we are all probably going to get this. we'll deal with things as they come "
Nice dodge there Marcus Welby. Never tell the patients they are old.

Too funny, @walkonby ...we saw our dr on Tuesday and I had to undergo "an examination"....I asked him when I can stop that nonsense since I'm old now, and he chuckled and said that I'm not old yet...maybe when I'm 80 I can stop having that done. Phhht. So I guess we really are just in our late middle-ages.
Apparently there has been a run on hand sanitizers and potty paper here...good thing were always stocked up. Lol!
So no more NFL games, NBA games, I wonder if March Madness will be cancelled.
I wonder how long before this virus runs its course...

No NBA, no NCAA March Madness, no NFL.....sigh...I wonder why March Madness was ultimately cancelled rather than playing with no fans as was the original plan; the kids will likely hang out together anyway. I guess over-cautious is the way to go....
BTW...where is Natalka lately?Last edited by Lynn49; Thu, Mar 12th, 2020 at 05:07 PM.

1720 – The Great Plague of Marseille – this was the last significant European outbreak of the bubonic plague. It killed a total of 100,000 people in the city of Marseille, France.
1820 – The First Cholera Pandemic – By 1820, cholera had spread to Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. On the island of Java alone, the outbreak caused the death of 100,000 people.
1920 – The Spanish Flu – In 1918-1920, the world was faced with the influenza pandemic. It would be the first of two pandemics to involve the H1N1 influenza virus.
