We had/have one heck of a rain/thunder/lighting storm last night...started around midnight. The light and booming thunder kept on until about 4 am, rain hasn't stopped yet.

Tired. Need to get some work done.

I slept through the rain last night, heard nothing at all.

So I guess the NBA season is close to being canceled, if not already canceled. I heard one person say that he was embarrassed to be talking about the hockey games when the NHL had an opportunity to do the right thing. I expect the NFL to cancel which would be a loss for me, but I would certainly support them if that's what they decide to do.
Lebron James seems to be leading his team and I have so much respect for him in this cause and all the work he does in his community and outreach for youngsters.

Anyway....14 this morning, the times they are a-changing for sure.
Rain is expected up here through Saturday, so we may just stay home this weekend.

@Natalka , I hope that whatever has relieved you of your pain continues to work its magic.

My heart is so broken, I have shed too many tears over too many years for the mothers, siblings, children and communities who have watched their loved ones ( mostly young black men ) get murdered by the very force that is supposed to serve and protect us ALL.
How many more t-shirts have to be been printed and worn, how many banners and murals painted before all of society accepts there is a freaking problem??!!
I have no idea how or what the pro sports teams can do to effect some REAL change, but I will never lose hope.

The winds here are loud as if I am in a wind tunnel.....woooooo, scary!!

Nice rolling thunder and some rain. Should just be today, then back up in the 20s.

Body feels better today, only a small bit of nausea. Pain, pain, will not go away, though.

@Lynn49 - sorry Jenny has been hurting, but glad those meds are working for her!

Took Tootie to the vet again today. She definitely has crystals in her urine and some blood. So tomorrow she will have an ultra-sound to determine if they are small enough to flush out. If so, they will do that.

I have to give her a "chill pill" at noon that will supposedly send her to "LA LA " land without really knocking her out.

If the crystals are too big, then we will have to talk about surgery. But a drawback to that is- her heart is enlarged and she has a murmur. Full anesthetic could be dangerous for her.

Crossing my fingers and toes.

@ Natalka - some good news mixed in with the bad. Hope your weather makes you feel good.

Well, sleepies are coming on. But my feet are killing me- Think I will have to put some Voltaren on my instep.
