Guess everyone is either sleeping in or doing what the like best on Saturdays.

Went for a walk it’s not too bad out. Now I am going to tidy up the family room then watch some Netflix.

Good earlier afternoon!!! Another progress is made with dad healing,he taken his shower with no problem with some ivory soap not axe like before.,He have a little bit of dry skin I will suggest him some hydrating body cream and he feel so good about it!!!.Before and for 1 month at the hospital no showers only faceclothe washing..... His plasters white strips are almost all fall down,that a good sign the healing is in progress with his scarves.It is less horrible.

Happy Sunday everyone! @flemeth , please don't tell your DH that I lost faith in the Leafs last night ( plus I was so pissed at the Oilers getting that 3rd goal ) that aroud the 11:00 minute mark of the 3rd period I switched the channel and watched a forensic show.
DH had already walked away in disgust after the 2nd period
It wasn't until we were both back watching the sports highlights that we discovered the Leafs had tied it up in the 3rd and then won in overtime!!

The look on McDavid's face as that fluke goal ricocheted off of Matthews stick, hitting Nurse's foot and going into their net? PRICELESS!!! ha ha ha

I've been busy all morning in the kitchen. Taking my first sit down break since 5:30 a.m.

Good late morning!!! Went to bed very late so I sleep in.
E-mail done to my uncle and I wrothe a novel....grrr
Need to work on menu planning,do my grocery shopping list and maybe order a few coupons
Got my confirmation e-mail for the cheese promo
Still cloudy today,hope the sun will be there soon!!!

Hubby booked his 2 vaccination dates this morning, so that'll be a relief since he's the one going out into the wild.

Happy Willow/Palm Sunday!



Sure miss getting some pussywillow branches at church. It's tradition to tuck a few under an icon or cross on the wall.

Saturday morning, husband went to a church to pick up my order of Easter breads, Paskas and Babkas. Also got the beets-horseradish 'relish' which is traditional. I ordered online, and they had pickup so well organized - all orders were on tables in the parking lot, and your order was delivered to your car. People got different times, of course.

We didn't get ours from the church we attend, because they had a limit of one of each type. I would have had to send four people, lol!

I did the bulk of our grocery order online yesterday, so husband went to pick it up today. He had to stop elsewhere to pick up a med for me. One more short trip will be needed early in the week - forgot to get a cabbage, so that has to be steamed and frozen before the weekend, so I can thaw them to make holubtsi.

My life with owies is pretty much the same, not great. Bah!

We have a storm warning out - an Alberta clipper coming our way overnight, with some snow and 80kph winds. Today it was 16.
Typical March.

My battery life is almost run out... Have a great start to the week, everyone.


Serious covid stuff going on in Regina - they have the highest % of variants, which has now spread to Moose Jaw, which isn't far from there. My nephew, wife and kids live there, just praying they stay safe.

Sign on the outskirts of the city my nephew took yesterday. They are in serious lockdown.

Good morning everyone!!!
It is very windy and it is snowing ,0degres. Grocery shopping day today for me.
I retalked to my old childhood friend on facebook ,so happy of that .Like the old time,we chatted!!! We will resee each other and I got a invitation to her new house for dinner when the covid will be over.I hope soon lol.Cannot wait to resee her!!!
Dad is feeling great,not so much pain,
Other than that I need to do the dishes and will see what the day bring.
