Wonky wardrobe and what??? day in the thread it seems! All good! Makes me feel normal at least! Thank you one and all!
Spent my day with a turkey(no comments from the peanut gallery!) actually the remnants of 3 dinners and still enough for 4 or more dinners!
Body hurting from all the standing,blah,blah,blah but at least it was worth it!
Perhaps able to register for Covid shot tomorrow. For those who may think it's fake, I know a couple that caught it. The guy died Sunday and she is still in the hospital with it. Other SC members in other threads have first hand experience. Just keep safe and well,be kind to others,

@Skippy , sorry to hear of that couple you know who encountered that virus. It does seem as if " there's no such thing" when one hasn't had a personal experience with it. Fortunately! It hides, then appears in it's stealth, insidious way, destroying lives. I hope you can get your appointment soon.
My Hubby had his 1st vaccination yesterday, DD asked him if he has any superpowers, but no....no after-effects thank goodness. Superpowers would have been nice, though.
I get my first one on Saturday.

Super sunny day, heading up to 18?! That'll bring me out for a walk with my walker.

Hello friends!

Have to run out to pick up somethings that I won't be able to pick up if I don't get them today. Gorgeous day out there!

Well, it seems they have finished cleaning my apartment so I will head up and take a shower and get going.

For those who may think it's fake, I know a couple that caught it. The guy died Sunday and she is still in the hospital with it.

Was watching one sociologist on the news who suggested that "it's not real until they personally know someone with CoVid" phenomenon is common.

I've often wondered why officials haven't been more pro-active in showing chains of transmission. While I can fully understand privacy issues and the fear of ostracization, they could at least talk about "Jane got it at work from a customer. She brought it home and infected the entire household. The son went to hockey practice and gave it to the entire team. Daughter went to daycare and infected 1/2 the staff and kids. Hubby took it to his office and infected them. etc."

Since young people are so tightly linked with their social media accounts, why not ask them to voluntarily send out a message to every contact about their infection? A quick self-image of themselves in an ICU posted to a social media account seems far more powerful to some people than all the press conference announcements. Certain age categories seem unable to accept CoVid without anecdotal evidence.

@HermanH, how about one stupid grade 9 student just had a party and now 10 kids are infected and have therefore infected others in a town that had 2 cases at the time.

Not here thank goodness, but I wonder if the party was condoned by the parents or did the jerks just flick off school and get together without their knowledge.
