o.k. the thing is to remember to BREATHE! ( Jays game ) , kinda of a nail-biter up until just now....



The Orioles who have nada to lose can spoil the Jays run for the Wild card spot. Jay were down 3-0 in the first, Baltimore knocked Robbie Ray out of the game by the 5th inning. Thank goodness just now Jays have tied it up in the 6th.
The better news is both Boston and NYY are losing their games atm. They are both behind in runs facing their opponents.
Stay tuned..... @Lynn49 are ya there? Watching I mean? lol

@walkonby , so what happened?! We were sitting at the kids' campfire when you posted..a campfire made by our DD as usual..nothing like it around here!

I got up at 9am, Hubby had my coffee ready, and we decided this will be my last visit here. I'm both sad and relieved at the same time...I just love this trailer and I'll miss my heated, massaging recliner, lol. Loved them for my horrible back. Hubby has already removed the roof and curtains from our gazebo and suddenly it's fall.
So...time to pack everything up, one more sleep for us, close down fridge/freezer so when the boys come back one more time they can dry them out and leave them open, drain pipes put in antifreeze....or something like that.....everything else comes home tomorrow.

Oh, boy....just got invited to a b'day party this evening...drinks, foods, live music, campfire.
NOW I'm ready to go home! 🤪

Milan got to Prince George last night. He had left here Wednesday. He loved Jasper, which I knew he would!!!! Cannot wait to hear of his BC adventures, his friend and fiance are on an acreage, with animals - she rescues horses, I think they have two - chickens and turkeys, as well as dogs and cats.

Things are okay here, not wonderful but not much worse.

Good day fellow inhabitants of the thread! Here I am trying to get a post in while the going is good. Of course now the cat wants to be fed, and my body is hurting again but hey could be a lot worse! Although I don't post as often as I would like, I do lurk in the shadows and read posts.
I like to keep up to date with peoples lives in this part of my world.
Ironically I was going to comment on how wonderful it is that we're in fall with all it's wonderful colours,smells,eats and cooler temperatures. Yet it's back to summer temperatures today. These sudden changes don't agree with me and my sinuses which have been throbbing for days.
Unfortunately I'm finding that as time moves on I am not able to do as much physically as I would like so DW bears the load for that.
Although I would love to stay and chat further I must be off. Everyone have a wonderful weekend!

Busy week coming up for me. Monday - see grandson off to school in the morning. Later in the day, pick him up at school and bring to the dentist; call electrician to fix a minor problem. Tuesday: see him off to school. Wednesday; same as the other 2 days. Thursday, get him off to school; go to eye specialist because my operated on eye keeps on swelling all the time; pick up grandson at school and bring him to get second vaxxed. Friday: Ped day! Yay!

Hubby had 3 small Strokes a few years ago and now gets tongue tied talking on the phone and cant express himself, so all phoning is left to me. Such is life.

Seems like ive spent my life taking care of people. First hubby and the kids, then my mom who lived with us after her stroke; and after that hubby who spent 11 months in the hospital. And i keep on wondering who will take care of me if i really get sick with something.

The mind says go but our bodies often say " wait a sec ".

I am THIS close to shutting the windows all back up and turning that A/C back on. Too muggy in here atm.

WHAT a great way to end the summer! Live music, saying good-bye to friends until next year..sniff..I'm so torn...sad to not be back here, happy to be home.

We left the party around 8 to spend our last evening with the kids, played a boardgame with the kids, then euchre, then a beautiful campfire chatting.

I'm really going to miss this and God willing we'll do this again next year.

o.k. it is recap time. For anyone who had thought our Blue Jays were toast in both the first and second games of the double header, you were justified. Consider the score at the bottom of the 6th in BOTH games.
First game 10-7 ( not in our favour ) , second game 1-0 ( again we were not in the lead )
End result in game 1? Jays score 4 in the 7th...final was 11-10 for us!
End result in game 2? Jays score 11 runs .....yep! ELEVEN runs in the top of the 7th. We were down 1-0 up until then....and won 11-2

Good earlier morning everyone!!!! Rainy ,cold windy day i QC at least at my place..We lost the power for 20 minutes this morning
No earlier birds this morming,you are all sleeping lol

I have a few errands to do this morning and cleaning to do ....
And after I am off for voting..with anticipation lol...hope the files are not too long

Eve the cat eat the food of stella so I putted the bowl at another placeé.Stella I was sure she would bit me when i cuddle her but not at all she licked my hand hahaha And I will probably put another scelled litter box because stella put litter all over the place loll..mad girl l!"!!!

She is so freaking cute!!!

Hello Friends! I've been really missing chatting! Just finished watching a "You Tube" version of our church service. Moving into the modern world, but my computer doesn't want to go there half the time!

My "Winnie girl" is lying on my lap, which she likes to do most of the time. Still have not made much progress in decreasing her "separation anxiety."
@Lynn49 - it seems you were just getting prepped to GO to the trailer - Where did the summer go? Sounds like you had a good one, though!

I have been watching a video on PBS called "Ancient Medicine??" I think and had the book out of our library for a while. Interesting take on relieving all the aches and pains and other "nasties" of getting old.

I definitely have brain fog..... yesterday I didn't have any pockets in my pants, so stuck my keys in my bra while walking Winnie. Came back - got on with the day but couldn't find my keys all day - thought they might have fallen out of my purse in the car.... Well - came to get undressed for the night and CLUNK - out fall my keys from my bra!!!! Brain FOG!

I spent yesterday reminiscing about 9/11. My late husband was IN New York city just the week before, and, of course, visited the Twin Towers. How random life is! Enjoy each day or at least some aspect of it!
