@Lynn49 I was kind of following their story as it went along. Absolutely invented charges they had against them, but the whole time I was thinking about their loved ones back in Canada fighting to have them released and hitting brick walls every time.
Thank goodness this turned out in their favour.

Credit where credit is due.

Kudos for Canada to stand up to PRC lawlessness with the Rule of Law. It cost us a great deal of economic hurt, but we never wavered; even in the face of demands from the families of the hostages. I expected the Liberals to cave, but will admit that I am pleasantly surprised.

The fact that the hostages were released immediately upon the escape of Meng Wanzhou was the typical petty and cowardly action of the PRC; to let the world know exactly what was done, how it was done, and how they do not give a d*** about anyone's opinion on the matter.

'You know what we did. We know what we did. And there is not a damn thing you can do about it (when we do it again.)'

Wow, isn't that strange for Frankie to get so upset at your camera! I wonder what changed. The fact that he can't even see the camera is even more of a mystery!
We have to figure this out, we need our Frankie-fix!!

I couldn't find anything specific, only that they can develop phobias to things...loud noises, strollers, socks, lol...perhaps cameras, also?

What if you just placed the camera near his cage for a while, note his reactions....perhaps he may get accustomed to using it. Or he'll lose all his feathers on horror?

Maybe try a different camera/phone to see if it elicits the same response.

I never thought China would follow though after Chinese executive Meng Wanzhou was reurned to China, but they have now released the two Michael's from prison.

I suspect they will both need mental health treatment ( therapist? ) after their 3 year ordeal.

The regular stuff, like cans of red, white kidney beans, lima, finely diced carrots, potatoes, celery, canned diced tomatoes, diced onions, tomato paste, vegetable stock (the only kind to use for everything anyway), seasonings, cans of Rotel tomatoes, we put in a pkg of chili seasoning, s&p, and of course, cocoa powder.

Just use enough of those to make it look and taste like chili

We've made it and we don't miss the meat, but generally use ground turkey. We've also used TVP.

Sounds just like a recipe for vegetable soup (other than the chili and cocoa.)
First time I've heard of cocoa power, though. Maybe I'll try it.
