If the weather up where you are is anything like the weather down here you're in for a great weekend @Lynn49 actually just being away at your camp will be.
Thank you @GoJays for all the wisdom and knowledge all in one day. @walkonby I am always left in wonder with your shopping list when you include worms.
After scratching my head for a bit I remember that they're not for you but your bud Frankie.Good thing you have provided pics so we know he exists.
My time here is up for now as need to get dinner dealt with.
Have a great weekend my friends and happy Mother's Day to you special people out there.Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

@Skippy , it’s a gorgeous day here! We even had to put the air conditioner on in in the RV! Other years we’re in toques, winter coats and mittens!
We’re pretty much moved in, the deck’s been found under mounds of leaves…lots of camp friends here, more tomorrow..it’s a fun time here.
Enjoy this beautiful weekend, everyone!

Morning all! Monday, Monday....I'm humming the Mama & Papa song atm.....so lovely out with the sun even if the air is on the cooler side, I'll take it!
Loved going to my specialist follow up appt today because my last blood tests were enough to impress him. He couldn't find any good reason to suggest
an increase in dosage of my meds or swap them for another poison pill. No trying to slot me in for any invasive day procedure either! ha ha
I'm walkin on Sunshine!! ( oops, I changed songs in my head ) tee hee

Great result with your specialist, @walkonby! I just bet you’re walkin’ on sunshine!
As far as lyrics go, I can only sing the “8675309” line, and the one line in your song, lol! Usually I’m pretty good with lyrics.
Another gorgeous day today, productive meeting of our group this morning….a quick grocery shop at RCSS, then I was done. Doesn’t take much some days.
I meant to try driving again when we got home, but I was so tired, I was in my leggings before I remembered. Maybe tomorrow.
Have a lovely evening, everyone.Last edited by Lynn49; Mon, May 15th, 2023 at 05:46 PM.

Goodness, cool your jets, @danger_dan ! You exhaust me!
Looks like a little morning rain, then clearing…nothing on the agenda, I’m not sure I’m brave enough today to try driving…..my efforts at Kan-Jam improved at camp, though! Lol! Maybe I’ll feel better when the sun shows up.
Hope you all have a sunny day!

Those WastJet pilots on strike? Classiest strike ever. We usually see hootin’, hollerin ’ strikers, as if it’s all one big party which I find just revolting. Which. I guess they are.
Smartest sign: You’re not going anywhere today.
Unfortunate for those holding tickets, though…Last edited by Lynn49; Tue, May 16th, 2023 at 09:08 AM.

Good morning to the " Fast and Furious " postings by @danger_dan ! ha ha , C'mon dan I gotta pile on after Lynn49 called you out.
Sorry, I know retired folks shouldn't really be picking on those who are currently in the workforce but sometimes our days blend together in a boring
swirl so we need something to jump start us.
Now today I did a productive thing. I am forever hopeful that I will one day develop gardening skills. Has not happened yet, but THIS could be my year!
So I filled 4 small trays that look like mini egg cartons with new soil and plopped various very tiny seeds into each well, gently covered them all over with a
thin top layer of more soil, added a delicate stream of water to all of them. They are now on the top shelf in my large front window to get SUN!
I have Dill, Green Onions, Basil and Chives. ha ha ha !! Who am I kidding? Right now I have labels on dirt piles that say those words.
Fingers crossed!!

Good luck with the seeds @walkonby !
Well, the day that was supposed to happen three long years ago has finally happened. DD and I finally got to see Hamilton in Toronto. That sounds funny... but anyway... Nearly four years ago, I bought tickets to the play when they first announced that they were coming to Toronto for her for Christmas. It was the only thing she'd wanted since she discovered it from a friend. We were supposed to go in mid-March of 2020. You know what happened. Finally, this past weekend we were able to finally try again and it was worth the wait. If any of you have a chance to see it, please do so, it is such a good production. She's already talking about seeing it again - pshhh, good luck sister lol, those tickets ain't cheap. Anyway, see it if you can

No, Kurt Browning, no one’s stopping you in the street to ask about stupid reverse mortgages!
Oh! Hello and good morning!
@walkonby , hope springs eternal when it comes to gardening, lol! I’m like you, I didn’t inherit my Mom’s green thumb, our GS, however, did. Maybe he should plant our garden! Lol!
We bought 3 plants at a gardening info session and I’ve already forgotten the name of them! I saw the picture, they look like tall spikes flowers. Purple, I think. These were about 3” tall, now over 12” tall, just a bunch of spikes skinny leaves, very healthy looking, though. I hope they’re not getting pot-bound, but it’s still too cold to plant them outside!
If it wasn’t nearly impossible to post a pic on here, I’d do that.
ok….onward to the day!
Enjoy, everyone!
