Morning all! Monday, Monday....I'm humming the Mama & Papa song atm.....so lovely out with the sun even if the air is on the cooler side, I'll take it!
Loved going to my specialist follow up appt today because my last blood tests were enough to impress him. He couldn't find any good reason to suggest
an increase in dosage of my meds or swap them for another poison pill. No trying to slot me in for any invasive day procedure either! ha ha
I'm walkin on Sunshine!! ( oops, I changed songs in my head ) tee hee

Rejoicing with you(but no accompanying song).Always a great visit when nothing more to do but be sent on your way!

I saw had Daveed Diggs, Jonathan Groff ( the best King ever! ) and Lin-Manuual Miranda. So good.
Same exact thing happened to my sis, in March of 2020 she is set to go to the live show and then nope! No soup for you!
Eventually got her front row viewing of it in March of this year.

Someone has been operating some kind of a whipper snipper outside and the stupid humming sound is driving me bananas! How much grass edging do you have??

Back to winter coat this morning as 1 degree when woke up. At least the sun is out but still brrr… @Lynn49 what is a Kan-Jam? for those of us who are from the south and are ignorant of such things.
Highlight of the week so far was my cat’s birthday yesterday.Him and I celebrated by staying outside longer than usual.(If I thought longer I am sure something else must’ve been more profound like free fries at Muckdonalds….bear with me/humour me)
Now I’ve given myself the benchmark so I will need to do better.
Enjoy the day my friends knowing that the long weekend awaits!

What a temperature drop! I opened up the window to the cathouse and Claudius placed 1 paw on the carpeted floor, sniffed the air and turned back around.
I used to push him out in frustration when he would try that change of mind thing, since he meows non stop until I open the blind and window up, but now that
he is so old ( turned 15 on my birthday this year! ) I let him act any way he wants.
So... @Skippy , Happy Birthday to your kitty!! Free fries huh? Of course McD's would have that when I am back on the diet.

@walkonby, @Skippy, you two are proctological nuisances!

You're right, Walks...that's KanJam, and we play it at camp, the kids have a huge yard for that, and Bocce (and don't you two dare ask what that is!)...wrt my eyesight, I can see clearer, everything's brighter without those cataracts...I think my aim is better...which also helps with driving...although aiming NOT to hit things is the name of the game for that talent....lol...
Young and old (whoever that many be!) enjoy playing it.
We also play Corn Hole (you DO know what that is, right?)...
KanJam and Corn Hole are two games among many when Games Day is organized by our park owners...a fun day of playing, cheering and sipping stuff. Our GS and his friend can actually get the frisbee in the can almost every time as well as get it through that slot. I Kan not.




Cold today here, also, we all had to cover outdoor plants in case of frost which didn't happen here, but apparently it did north of us.

Good afternoon thread dwellers! I was there before the mechanics wiped the sleep from their eyes to get an oil change. Wanted to be first in line to toss away $500.00.
ha ha ha ha ha ha That is anxiety filled nervous laughter meant to mask my disappointment in never having gone to Mechanics School. It's NEVER going to be JUST the cost of the oil change....I surrender.
The NF shop afterwards rounded out the bank account draining session. Lots of great deals ( for us ) but still....always more money out than in.
Hoping to make it to Cineplex later today to see GOTG ( the final one ). Was supposed to go yesterday but. hmmmm, not sure why all 3 of us were so lethargic.
Finally downed my first meal about 20 minutes ago. That's how it goes when I dash out the door at 7 a.m. and don't return until 11:30 or so. I did grab a Tim's coffee for the sitting in the waiting room part of the car service. That and watching CNN occupied my time and confirmed to me that I will continue to stay away from both MSNBC and CNN. At home I only flip it on as a check in and it's usually the same old, same old. They are not helpful in calming people. Were they ever?
