A pretty decent day so far! No driving anyone anywhere!
My only plans later are to tune in to watch the first of 4 Jays games against the TB Rays.

Your photos are absolutely amazing, @Newfiescreech !! You'll have to start making prints and putting them on kijiji!! Great pocket change there....and probably MORE! That last one, the whipped cream iceberg!!! Amazing! And that sunset?!
We have a friend who's a very accomplished photographer here, who actually had one of his photos (of a bear) on the front cover of Canadian National Geographic a few years ago...also has a book out (he didn't put in my favourite pink photo!) and HE'D be impressed with your photos! You really are a talented photographer, Screech!!

Husband had consultation with vascular surgeon yesterday; he'll be going for a CT scan today.
Doc said because he's still 'young', she won't do a stent (less invasive) but will do open surgery. The difference is the stent will only last five to seven years, and would have to be redone. However, recovery for that is quick. For the big surgery, he would have to be off work three months. Oy - don't know what we will do with that...
This is all just so much to deal with.

Good Morning gang!
Had to do a bit of emergency plumbing last night. Our water filter sprung a leak as the bypass valve cracked...water all over the place...
Long story short, old water filter removed, new filter installed...and installed a shut off valve after the filter while I was at it.
Another busy day here...paper work starting to pile up on my desk again.
Have a wonderful day Fam.DANGER

Good fine morning, everyone!!
The quilt is done!!! Yayyy!! I'll post a pic since I've annoyed the heck out of everyone for the past month (or two?)...I think it turned out quite cute. Actually, the gal who owns the quilt shop wanted to take a picture of it to replicate it to sell, but I told her I bought the last of the 'picture' fabric..haha!! She said she'll order more. I just looked on line for a pattern for an elephant stuffed toy that I'll use the quilt fabric for, found one, drew it out on paper just now, so I'll make him a matching stuffie to go with the quilt.
@Natalka , goodness sakes!! 3 months?? That's pretty invasive to me, but what do I know anyway! DH has, iirc, at least 3 stents that were put in years ago and are still fine and they keep close tabs on him, but sheesh!! That's a long time to be off work, although I imagine there's compensation available for him? I sure hope so! Do you know exactly what the procedure is, that she's performing on him? WHat a nuisance, out of the blue, like that....give him my best wishes, okay?
@danger_dan , welcome to home ownership!! Glad you were able to get things under control and I hope there wasn't too much damage other than soaking up the water.
Have a lovely day, everyone!!

Those are great pics @Newfiescreech . Well done.
Oh my @danger_dan . That's disappointing, but it's good you know what to do to fix the problem.
I'm sorry your DH has to go through that @Natalka , but 3 months - wow. He'll need a lot of TLC, so I'm glad he has you when he need help.
You're done @Lynn49 - boy when you put your mind to something, there's no stopping you. Now a stuffy, of course, why not.
