Been like this for several days now, so hard to sleep when even overnight it hasn't gone below +20. High temps should break Tuesday with a high of +15..

Thank you for the b'day wishes....it's a lovely day here, DH is taking me out for dinner, then we're off to Kitchener tomorrow to bug Avon..haha...then two Stratford plays, St Jacob's, it's going to be busy...taking my cane, walker and wheelchair. I may need them. And in that order.. The weather should moderate for everyone this week...hoping for better days ahead for you, Cabbie!

EEk! DD's plane is taxying ready for take-off right now!! Oh, it's going to be wonderful having the little critter home again!!! We'll touch base before we leave for the south in the morning. THey're keeping Jenny for us, too so I know Jenn will be busy keeping tabs on their cat and keeping it upstairs...she won't let it down the stairs from DD's 2nd floor bedroom, lol....an intervention needs to take place at that point..

@Lynn49 , I haven't been doing much of anything because it's so hot. Been working on my shopping list for next week and I found a deal on a ninja bullet. It's a display model but with shipping and tax like $68. They had 28 available but are down to 3 lol. Hope they still have some next monday. It's an ebay seller in Quebec so shipping shouldn't take too long. I need to give back the one soon that I borrowed from my aunt. Hope you have a good day.

Cabbie, have you considered a stick blender? If you use it for softer type foods...like I use it for my banana type smoothes they're so easy to use and clean up is a breeze.

Thanks @Lynn49 I want the one with more power that does ice cream and can really do frozen fruit etc. By ice cream I mean using frozen fruits like bananas. I really liked using my aunts blender and it worked well. The one I am looking at is $35 plus shipping and tax comes to $68. It's the auto IQ one that you push one button and it does all the work. It's usually about $140 and Canadian Tire has it for $170 so $68 is pretty good total cost.

This is the one here at walmart.ca for $140. Hope as of monday I can still get the one on ebay for a total of $68. They say it is a display model that they used only a few times using only water to show how fast the blades work.

Thanks @22hicks ! It'll probably be like that new HomeSense commercial, "finding what you didn't know you were looking for"! Boy do they know us! I always said I find things I didn't even know I wanted!
As our DD says, "make it rain! make it rain" while brushing one palm over the other...hahaha! Oh, Honey, I intend to!
