    Enjoying the sunshine! We went to the beach the other night and it was my first time in the bay this year. Its always hard the first time but it was really warm. My DS has been to the beach often and they went for the first swim in April I think. It was freezing and some of his friends didn't go in. I don't blame them!

    Our community has a Rock Drop program this summer. I spent 4hrs helping our kids look for this rock on Thursday and Friday. Each weekly rock is worth $50-$150 in local gift cards. We couldn’t find the rock and wonder if someone found it but didn’t follow the steps to publicly claim the prize. We have been going for bike rides and working in the vegetable garden and yard. Lots of fresh air, but we’re still staying away from people and wearing masks in public. Our children are too young to get vaccinated abd my MIL died of Covid in March 2021.

    I prepped some food on Sunday and it has been great for me working in the office this week. Just grab and go.

    I walked downtown today to get out of the office for a bit. It wasn`t my plan as I was wearing beach sandals but glad I went. I will make sure to bring my running shoes tomorrow and do it again!

    Things I want to do for being more healthy and loose some weight
    Drink more smooties but cut the smotties with water same as the juice...Trying to make my own smooties to be less expensive than the store ones that I bought (Oasis Good Morning)
    More veggies and fruits too in my eating need to be add
    Try to do some little walks even I dont like those because I do crisis of panicking
    Maybe fix my bicycle and do some riding..maybe

    I am planning to make a smoothie station in our freezer for quick breakfasts.

    One of my fav tricks is a few oats or chia seeds to make my smoothie more filling

    I did buy the store bought smoothies when I had surgery a few years ago as I thought I would be restricted on foods, they are okay but I find them overly sweet.

    Ok kid is back to school so now we can be back in a normal routine!!! ( it was a rough week since it was that women time of the month!! I ate everything.. happy to be back to normal!)

    My goal is to get 6000 steps in before noon. Then go for a walk in afternoon/evening.

    Meals- Choose healthy options. Today cooking up chicken and will make fresh brocoli and salad. Will make DS a ceaser salad he can just add the dressing to when he is ready to eat.

    Once I am done my coffee it is water.

    Took the pup for a walk before work this morning. I will go for a walk alone later tonight since she is not a good walker at all

    Good for you (on the veggies.) I hope you realize that the dip is usually where all the fat, cholesterol, and calories are hiding. I nearly fainted when I started reading nutrition labels. Now, it's steamed/boiled/raw veggies plain or nothing.
