I am going to call to complain. I have the offer and yet DH is listed as primary on the accounts. I opened the accounts he did not grrr. I am not putting RSP or TFSA money there, it goes into the proper investment but I have a chunk of planned spending money in PC that I could move for this interest rate.

Does anyone know if the interest is compounded daily, monthly or annually because that does make a difference.

Interest is calculated daily and paid monthly in the case of our Savings and Chequing Accounts.

They just mention the above. But not sure if calculated daily also means compounded daily :shrug:
Probably not, too many financial gimmicks :(

I remember my mortgage ( not savings or chequing account ) with some other bank was compounded semi annually or something like that. I remember the bank was benefitting from it and not me :(. Its always in their favour and not us :mad:

Is it on the entire balance ? Or just net new deposits after Jan 04, 2017 ?

Where they take a snap shot of your balance on Jan 04 and only anything above that gets 3.25 % .

Its only for new money so if you want to get offer for next quarter move your money out before this promo ends.
