Our Smart Source did not have any cat food coupons, in fact it only had one page inside. My mother lives in another area of our city and she did not get the entire Smart Source. I live in Kingston, did this happen in any other cities?

Same here.....I was wondering what was going on. Mine only had the hair dye ones. Everyone else here was the same. That's really strange.

Welcome. You will find a lot of help her to save money on more than groceries, but you might want to keep in mind that YMWV depending how much time and effort you're willing to put in. Personally, I've been aware of SC for a number of years, but until this summer, I wasn't ready to do the things that I have to in order to save as much as I do. I definitely could have saved some money back then, but even now, I'm not prepared to do the levels of planning, price-matching, couponing, trading, etc. that some people who save more are willing to do.

My point is that it's up to you to find your personal balance between how much additional time and effort your're willing to put into your shopping and how much you'll save. There's no right or wrong decision in this regard, so whatever works for you is fine, whether that's being a relatively casual saver, a super-saver or anywhere in between.
