    Hi Everyone

I'm trying to do better this year with coupons, rebates, etc. Last year was a tough year for me and I didn't pay enough attention to our money situation like I had hoped I would. I'm determined to do better this year as we have a lot of exciting changes coming up.

That being said, I would like to start tracking my progress/accomplishments. Does anyone have a great excel file or something similar that they use for tracking the coupons they've used, gift cards earned etc that they would be willing to share?

I know this may be time consuming, but I thought if I updated once a week if may keep me motivated seeing the payoff that I am getting from my effort!

    Thanks in advance

Canadian Budget Binder (all one word) is a great website that may be able to help - there is a number of free printables available - don't know if his website would help with maintaining your motivation but there's a lot of input on both his website and facebook from his members.

I am recording what I spend on groceries this year and made my own excel spreadsheet. I included what points I received to (PC plus, SDM etc) This way you can put the details in that you want to record. I am also keeping all my grocery receipts so I can see what I paid for items over the year.

its pretty easy to do an excel spreadsheet, decide what you want to count. I have PC Plus, SDM, Air Miles Coupons. Basically anything that I see as a savings. I now use my tracker to record my FB Kijiji sales. My spread sheet is a pivot table so not easy to just share as you need to understand Excel & at least once a month I need DH my excel expert to save me as a I mess something up.

My coupons i used to take change and put the value of my savings into a tin. I did it to prove a point to my siblings that coupons were worthwhile.
Checkout 51 and caddle didnt exist at that time.
I always forget to count my points cards though.
