I just redeemed for another $25 Amazon.ca gift card from my free points that I earned on Reward Shopping. I have a referral link in my signature, if anyone is interested.
    $52 in PC Plus points
    $120 in Air Miles

Happy Monday!! Tallying up my grocery spend on the weekend. Transfer money to pay Credit card for groceries.
Christmas gift for niece and bed sheets were purchased with a gift card
I washed up the breakfast dishes this morning so the kitchen is clean!
I had a 5000 pt offer when I bought gas at RCSS. Of course they are trying to lure me back and always send the offer when I have just filled up. So my honey used my pc pt card when he filled up, 6664 PC pts for my card #2 (brought my total on that card over $30 in PC PTS)
I mailed out 2 Finish rebates yesterday. Have one more to mail out once I get form (need to find the one I had)

    Have a wonderful day!

High price of groceries? Are you in GTA? I thought you had so many stores/price wars? I live in a smaller town and not many choices but I feel this is so far the cheapest past few months I have had ever. People complain that it is expensive to eat healthy but I don't agree.
I find planning ahead (making chili? Look for deals and gather the sale items ahead of time then make the chili)
And have an open mind when shopping. ( I found .99LB whole chickens the other day. Made 2 for dinner Sat night and leftovers and put 2 in freezer) I bought 18pk of eggs on Saturday for 1.79 (expire Feb 10th) So I fried up some for breakfast sandwiches for the week and boiled the rest for afternoon snacks.
Canned Unico beans and tomatoes are .75 each at No Frills this week.
Fruit- Food Basics has berries on for $1.88. Basket of Kiwi for 1.88 Bananas are always .56LB. No Frills has 2lb Clemintines for $1.97 or 4Lb box for $3.97. Found lots of deals
2 pk Romaine hearts .97 (personal PC PTS- I had 600 for each!)

RCSS has tomatos .99 LB Mushrooms .99
    Walmart English Cucumbers .97 each

Lots of salad for us this week. And wraps

Unfortunately the grocery store closest to me is Food Basics and it sucks - the produce is usually wilted and moldy (one of the cashiers admitted that she doesn't even shop in her own store). We don't have a RCCS...the rest of the stores that you mentioned are on the other end of the city and I find it frustrating to have to shop in several stores to get deals. When you factor in time and gas going to different stores how much do you really save? Last time I parked at No Frills my car door got damaged....so living in the GTA isn't always great - lots of impatient people.

@Linda Evans -Value Village is having 30% off of women's clothing with Club Card on Wednesday. If those jackets you like are not red tagged(red tags and accessories are excluded), you may wish to get them. Pity it's not 50% off but you have got to get your finds. May have a look at my store (preview shopping) today when I visit Longos later.

Rare morning that I get up to do a load of laundry at 6:30am so the bedding is washed and drying. Did some hand laundry too. Need Ms. Sunshine to beam like Lady Gaga did during the Super Bowl half-time show last night (thanks to Twitter RTs, I was able to see the show video as family was watching their Sunday tv programs). Have a watery looking grey sky instead of sunshine. Makes me want to eat sugary things-oops I must check for protein first.

    Morning everyone,

    Hope everyone feels better soon.

Supper tonight is leftovers and sausages for the kids.

I'm waiting for a few answers from OMVIC re car, I'm so stressed out even thought I know we have a case, it's just all the waiting that is driving me crazy. I haven't slept well in weeks and my stomach is burning all the time.

For those of you that have ventured to Great Wolf Lodge in Nigagra Falls have you ever gone to Fallsview water park. It's much more reasonably priced compared to Great Wolfe Lodge and seems to be quite large. Anyone been there, thoughts, comments, pros/cons, thanks

    Wishing everyone a great day.

We stayed a Sunday to a Monday at GWL and paid the same price as is being advertised by the Fallsview website. BUT GWL is sold out of standard rooms right now and the cheapest is $600+!???!

GWL is a true resort. Fallsview is not as it uses adjacent hotels and day passes. At this time of year Fallsview is the more economical choice. GWL has more for the younger crowd 6 and under. If your kids are over 6...I doubt they would have a different experience.

I have been to all the waterparks in the Falls. My fav is GWL, but it is not worth the extra money unless a) your child has allergies like mine or b) you are rich c) you get a really good deal so you don't have to pay extra money (October is good to go). Americana is smaller scale so better for ages 0-12 (they poisoned my daughter with gluten so I will not being going back there), Fallsview ages 6 and older, GWL ages 0-92.

I think Fallsview is the way to go if you are booking for family week. Have fun!!!

Can't resist the fruit sales- Grabbed a 4Lb box of clementines for $3.97 and received 800 pc pts. 2x 1.88 for strawberries.

Walmart now has the kids sport shorts for $4 out. Grabbed DS 3 pairs to go with his others. He is set for summer!!!!
I am not buying him another stitch of clothing.

There are 5 leftover chicken drumsticks from last night's supper. We'll use them for tacos or taco salad.
I think tomorrow's supper will be toasted bacon, tomato, and cheese sandwiches.

I'm updating my resume and cover letter to apply for new teaching contracts. There are maternity leave contracts coming up st my son's school. There is also a massive application process with the other local school division, their deadline is February 15 for the 2017-2018 school year.

@coupon girl I wish you live close to me as I have a huge Rubbermaid bin of clothes my son used when he was a baby. I even have brand new bibs from Walmart that never got used. I don't have the patience (and luck) to post them online to sell. I am waiting for anyone that I can possibly give them the clothes but all the news I'm getting right now are people getting divorced not pregnant. Well, my son is turning 8 in a few months and at some point I am going to get rid of his baby clothes.
