Treat yourself to a day at a spa....go home, order dinner, have wine and remember
and cherish all the special times you shared with a loved one.:sweet:

Call old friends and touch base with them.

Too late this year, but next year, plan to volunteer at a school, nursing home, etc and
help out those teachers with kids 'high on sugar', or to make the day special for those
who are confined to those homes.

I have a few friends, men & women, that have lost their spouses as well.
Historically, we have all gone out for lunch or dinner, so we're not alone today.

I always buy myself some flowers to brighten up the house.

I agree with Lynn about treating your self to the spa and pampering your self ,order dinner . The kind of person I am I would be thinking about all the good times that I had with my love one and watch TV and eat junk food.

I had my first solo anniversary on Sunday(17 yrs), I spent time with penguinette 2 and lilP..

I found today easier since we were never big VDay celebrators.

OK...I spent today watching Marvel Movies..

I went for walks and rides with Sadie. I did some tidying up. I watched "This is Us." I remember dh and I starting to watch this and feeling uneasy about the fact that one of the characters was dying of cancer. Now I am still watching. It really is portraying the emotions of the journey very accurately.
I wrote thank-you cards to folks who had helped with the "Celebration of Life."
I struggled with sending e-cards to folks who obviously had not received my real cards. I picked up some documents that I will need for income tax from pharmacies.
Oh yeah, and I watched a good part of "Silver Linings Playbook"???? with Bradley Cooper and Jennifer (Hunger Games lady). Love that movie.

Cleaning helper will come tomorrow and then my friend for a belated Valentines supper.

I dropped into the bank yesterday to get some quarters for a quarter-auction that I am going to. Then I very quickly deeked into a small pet store to check out boots for Sadie. I was gone maybe 15 minutes. Before I got back she had turned the emergency lights on and pushed my back rest over so that she was honking the horn when she jumped on it. Glad to have her around!
