OMFG.

Geez, it's like people can't read. The other site I've been alluding to got creative and erased much of the black marker before posting pics from ALL the flyers I posted this week, but the watermark is intact.

Thanks for letting me know about this instance. I had no idea about this app, (I'm very, very low tech). I'm at the stage where I'm just shaking my head in disbelief, (or exasperation), at what some people will do. (Exasperated laughing? Yeah, that's me). At some point, when I have time, I'll probably write a post to explain why I have an issue with other sites reposting my SC pics and link to it in my blurb area, (you know, at the top of my flyer sneak peaks...which, it seems, no one reads). It'll probably end up in the Rant section, but the gist of it revolves on site traffic, and how ad revenue is generated.

I'm just a bit surprised my pics are still being reposted because, as one critic this week says, it's difficult enough to read the flyers and the childish scrawl makes it worse.

Anyway...since the app didn't erase the smartcanucks.ca , maybe SC will see more traffic, which would benefit in the long run.



While I'm here, though....thank you @rocko for your coupon matching with the weekly flyer sales. I've been meaning to say this for a while, but your ability to match up coupons with the deals is amazing! Sometimes I don't even read the flyers anymore, (because there are days I'm just sick of them), and then I spot a comment you've made, and a great deal. I don't always say thanks, (bad me!), but I appreciate all you've contributed, too. You rock!

Major retraction regarding flyerify: apparently it IS connected to smartcanucks.ca

I don't think it's obvious, or maybe I missed reading how they're connected.

Everything else I wrote remains true w/respect to other sites that repost the photos. It's just frustrating to run across my pics in other places with no idea how they got there.

Interesting, I didn't realize Flyerify & SC are connected. Still, they shouldn't post previews, and should only post the official versions. Many thanks for your early previews.
