Dh has been sleeping on the couch since his surgery, he's found it to be more comfortable. He finally joined me in bed in the middle of the night. He's still in more pain than I had been told to expect at this point in his recovery. He told me that I'm causing him stress, which is not my intention. We talked last night and I'm continuing to try my best. He is still happy that I am keeping track of his two prescriptions and making sure that he is having a small snack or food any time that he takes a pill, trying to avoid stomach issues.
This is NOT an April Fools joke. Today is the last payment on my van, I now own it in full and we just signed the paperwork in September.

Happy Bday Ashley-nice to spend your birthday away.
He said you're stressing him? I cannot type what I'd say to him for that comment. Here's something for future consideration-whenever you are expected to attend an outside event or function with him (for whatever cause or fundraiser), you have to consider what's in it for you and how the childcare will be dealt with. You should not be expected to toss more plates of responsibility on your family/life commitments without you having control of when/where/what and that he expects you to make all the family arrangements. Or you'll act like male and focus only on you and see how he likes being a solo parent. At least you both had a talk but DH is real piece of work during recovery.
About to post a Bosch dishwasher contest that may interest some SCers keen on a new one.
Since I will visit Sobeys for a few grocery deals, I will check the shoe store grand opening on faint hope that it has a pair of cross trainers in my size in stock. Online US website shows item as online only but the price is under $70. I have the flyer with $10 off coupon so let's say I'm keen to know where my shoes will come from next Wednesday.
