How about a cup of afternoon tea?
Afternoon tea is a kind of culture?
For this I do not know much, some people are willing to talk about their own views?

Are you speaking of High Tea? It became a thing in Victorian times in England for high society ladies. Lunch was typically served at noon, and supper wasn't until later in the evening around 8 p.m. To tide them over, ladies started having a "snack" in mid-afternoon to tide them over. If they were by themselves, it probably was simple, a few finger sandwiches or scones with tea, but these events became more elaborate when they were entertaining, and could become a 3 or 4 course meal, if somewhat lighter in nature than lunch or supper.

    Lots of definitions here.
