Not that I'd do it now, as I have an aversion to chatchky and to dusting, still.....how sweet...esp in a kids room with all the stuff they collect...
Between the studs....

My grandmother had something similar in her house, but the shelving unit had a door w/ a mirror on it. Multi purpose :)
That is a good idea! Obviously helps to know design potential at the house framing stage.
So I have hidden potential shelving options but I'm certain my parents are not keen to let my inner DIY go loose at the walls because they are old walls and I'm not a Mike Holmes fixer-upper yet.
Looks cute!
I have a small wall in my kitchen that only has a clock on it, Using that idea i could make a spice rack and beable to put misc things like food dye, po seasoning containers etc etc
My dad did this in the kitchen of the house mom just sold. It was a great place to display all the plates the kids made at the pottery studios. It also house the fancy juice glasses that were used once a year:-)
