    The photo in my avatar is of my Dad when he received one of his degrees - which he did after being married and having a bunch of children already. Some of the time he was away from home to do studies at the university, for others the family moved to the city. My Mom remembers reading course material to him late at night, when his eyes were so sore he couldn't read any longer.
