SOF are all allowed to decide the degree to which they will follow the corporate policy. I emailed head office and they told me the policy is a guidline only, and it is up to the individual store how they implement it. There are now great variations in how different SOF accept coupons. Strathcona has told me they will interpret the policy as liberally as possible, Ellerslie & 111 won't stack at all, Ellerslie & Parsons will follow the written policy strictly.

LD says their policy has not changed but in fact it has! However; this differs from store to store for some reason! Sorry LD is no longer the retailer of choice and it is a sad day. With other retailers ad matching and stacking - sorry LD I can see you going the same way several other Canadian retailers have gone. When stores deviate from Head Office policy and make up their own rules as they go along - oops soon you are out of the marketplace!
