This was a popular deal last year so posting in case you missed it.

Soft soft is $2.99, you get 2000 bp wub 2.
Depending on your personal offers, it can be a break even / money maker.

hi there, i did the math i don't think i'd break even, maybe my math is off, could someone help me? TIA. I have personal offer of 4000 points wus $30. If i buy 10 x $2.99 soft soap and a $1 item to make it just over $30. Then the total optimum points would be 2000 x 5 (pairs of soft soap) = 10000 + 4000 (wus $30) = $14000 points = $17.50

depends on how you look at your points ... if you wait to redeem until you hit the max $170/95000 pts, then 14000 pts is worth $25. If you wait for a bonus redemption like $200/95000 pts then 14000 pts is worth $29.

Your personal offer of 4000 on $30 isn't that great (it's only about 13x the pts). Maybe your Wednesday or Friday offer would be better?

To expand on this a bit, points don't have a fixed value that applies to everyone. Rather, the value can vary within a range depending on how an individual chooses to redeem them. As I said in another thread that I started, I find it hard to come up with enough things to redeem at the higher levels. For other people in different circumstances and with different preferences and values, it's easy.

So, while they value their points at $1.79 or more per 1000, I use $1.50. If an opportunity to redeem at a higher level happens to come along, like one did this summer, I consider it a bonus. Neither value is "right" for everyone. The key IMO is to figure out what points are worth for you based on how you're likely to redeem them. This lets you make buying decisions based on the value that you are likely to get for your points, not what anyone else gets.

And as Nalaric indicated, 4000 wus $30 isn't the kind of offer you really want to use if you're aiming to get a high return in points. Look / wait for offers like 20x points wus $30, or 12000 bonus points wus $50 (if you spend exactly $50, this is 24x bonus points plus the base points, so 25x overall).

That's the "start the car" combo right there! I'd have a really hard time not clearing the shelves with those offers.

I know. I don't often get the trifecta, so was pretty happy when I realized it.

I did go, but the shelf was already pretty cleaned out, so I only got 4 softsoap, plus several other things I really needed, like milk, burger buns for our dinner and a few others. The thing about the 15x personal offer, is that it will only apply to one variety, so had to get four of the same scent.

My SDM was having problems with the POS system, and no bonus points were being awarded to any customers. So I had to email to ask for my points. I hope they award the 15x points for all 4 bottles, because the CSR dealing with my file might just award for one as the terms and conditions of the offer says one item only, but we know that the POS will award for full $ value of the same variety/flavour/SKU. My overall points should be over 14K on a $33 spend, so I'm happy with that shop
