Can't help with the deal side, but here's PC Mags reviews of the best Chrome books of 2017. It may help guide you to the features you may want, or help define your needs. Good luck

What size are you looking for? A really compact one (11.6 inches) or a normal sized one (14 inches)?
If you want the compact one here's an Acer for $230: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/CA/conten...cer-chromebook
Newegg has some reasonably priced ones in both sizes...

I've had no issues ordering from Newegg. My brother recently purchased a few components from them.
Check when the chromebook model is released. Chromebooks are limited to 5 years of support before they will not get updates.

All that being said, (and I'm not making any assumptions here) but Chrome ooks, just because they're running an OS from Google, doesn't make them Android.
They aren't Android, nor Windows (and definitely not Apple OS nor iOS). They are their own beast. You wont get any apps for them other than what comes on them, and local storage is VERY minimal, promoting the use of cloud storage whenever possible.
You may already be aware of that, as I say, not making any assumptions...
I work in I.T. and I've seen a good number of people who bought Chromebooks thinking "Android" and not realizing it wasnt.
Just my two cents.
See if you can find the Acer Chromebook 14. It is one of the few with 4GB RAM and 1080p IPS display.
You can find on sale under $300 CAD
A buddy here got $289CAD on Lenovo 14" Chromebook from Bestbuy
Thanks its just great post i really thanks for post this i hope this could help.
