I went to the States yesterday for their Columbus Day deals! First at JC Penney they had a coupon, take $10.00 off of your $25.00 purchase, this includes sale items, clearance etc!!The first one was a pair of knee high suede boots regular $120.00 reduced to $9.97, and just for the sale they had take an additional 50% off the last ticketed price so I paid $5.18 and they fit like a glove. I saw these when I was leaving the store.!! I bought curtains regular $50 on sale for $15.00 take another 50% off so they were $7.50 but I bought a bunch of things to make it to $25.00 -$10.00 = $15.00. I bought a lot of summer things, White Liz Claiborne blazer for $4.41, white linen pants reg. $48 for $5.00, skirts for $3.77, another pair of white pants for $1.79, tops for $3.00 reg. $36.00!! So many deals and my total at the border was $77.00 and they let us go through!! Oh, and I bought a butterball premium not artificial flavours, all natural turkey for .99 cents a pound, I know so of Canadian stores had the reg butterball for $1.49 on sale but this was a great deal, even with the exchange!

@SavvyLady , amazing deals. I really wanted to go over but was just too busy this weekend. DH is over next week for 5 days and I am thinking I may go over the day he returns because then I can get the groceries we like and hand then over for him to bring back and have no fear of duty.
Friends don't let real friends pay full price.
