Spend on an Alaskan cruise with friends. (Although technically you save by going as a group.), save on a weekend at Disney without the kids., shelve the week with the in laws at a sunny destination. (I really like my in laws and we usually go for a week at least once a year. The issue is actually the sunny destination as I get sick from too much sun/High UV rays.)

Lol I’m a stay at home mom so I wouldn’t buy any of those things I get them free all the time from my kids or hubby.

however I would spend on the hug (family/group hugs are the best), save on the kiss, shelve the cuddle (because my boys only want to cuddle with mommy when they are sick).

Spend on the fresh peas, save on the canned peas, shelve the frozen peas. Honestly we only ever buy canned peas because I’ve never found fresh peas sold around here but my grandmother used to grow them in her garden. I remember eating the peas right out of the pods when I was a kid.

*dh and I are planning to take ds2 to the zoo this weekend for the Halloween boo at the zoo event. Ds1 has an irrational fear of the zoo animals so we had to ask a friend to babysit him.
