I had problem with cashiers and coupons at my beginning of couponning,Now not so much ,but I have problem with cashiers who dont deduce the taxes on the fpc even if it is stated on the coupon they dont read it.So I told them and this is ok.
If you don't do this already, you can highlight the part of the text where it says tax is included (as well as the expiry date). Since any cashier who's even a bit conscientious can't just take your word for it, making it easier for them to verify that what you're saying is true won't help every single time, but it's a no-lose since it realistically can't hurt.
Another simple thing you can do to help yourself is to separate out such items. On many stores' systems, the easiest way for a cashier to see how much the tax is seems to be by scanning the item by itself and then looking at the amount of tax. I do $0 transactions pretty often because the cashiers find it easier that way. I always put the FPC item last, and ask for a separate transaction unless I'm sure nothing else is taxable.
These things take very little time and are far more effective than bemoaning the state of cashier training in this forum.
@Arjon :Thank you for the tips ;I will do these advices from now.
