    Happy November Everyone
Like everyone else I don't know where the time goes. LOL. Just seems to fly by. Put all the Halloween decorations away today and moved the Christmas decorations to the front. Ended up handing about 40 bags of goodies last night. Some really cute costumes on the kiddies. One little guy was dressed like a mad scientist with a huge head of silver hair, large glasses and a white lab coat. Jumped up the stairs trying to scare me. LOL. Really cute Well everyone enjoy their day. Off to feed the crew

    Morning everyone,

I find the older I get the time just zips by now I know what my grandma was talking about (haha).

I made a post on a local facebook page asking for straw/hay bales and we have a good amount of people giving us them. The wet ones will get put in the garden and the dry will be bedding for the chickens so win win, that will be our Sunday morning and that's okay, free is free and hay/straw is $6.75 a bale...yikes

Eldest is home he caught my nasty virus, poor guy, just woke up took some Dayquil and back to bed he went.

Well off to tidy up and get some laundry folded.

PS the house is cozy I have a small fire going as it's damp with all this rain, enjoy your day folks

THAT will be a nightmare for him to have to deal with... But apparently they MAY give him back some of his tuition if they scrap the semester/ reduced tuition for a restart???
I remember hearing in the first week of the strike that it's up to the Province to change rules to allow tuition refunds. So if one college can do it, then all of them should if that is the case.

The heat is on today and usually for an hour or two most mornings. Whenever the radiator in my room is on, it smells like I have a toaster oven on. I know it's the enamel high-heat paint but the smell will reduce with time. But I always enter the room and sort of expect to see a baked dish of something in my room!

My Hemitologist’s Office called this morning. He is very happy with my bone density scan results. It is the best possible outcome. My bones are normal and I have a very low risk of fracture. I’m relieved that my GP and my specialist agree and I can continue on my current medication.

Today is the first day for my new Daycare girl, full-time contract. She barely cried when her mom dropped her off, but she is sick.

I took our twins yo the ER last night. Twin boy’s throat is red and one of twin girl’s ears is pink, but neither require antibiotics at this time. I’m on the 3rd day of my antibiotic and I’m not seeing any improvements yet. If this continues, I’ll go back to the ER tomorrow night. I barely slept last night due to my cold and our sick little ones getting up too.

@Angela273 -awesome news! How are you doing with that sinus infection?

I'm going to have get some cold & sinus medicine soon as my right nostril is going drippy (thanks, bro) and stuffy.

SCers out near Costco Stoney Creek (which opened today)-what stories do you have about your adventures there?

Today is screaming for tea and cookies or a quick loaf. I feel like I can bake something before supper.

@Ciel I can breathe a little bit better, but the dry hacking cough is keeping me up at night. My ear hurts and I can’t hear very much on that side.

My ear was so bad today. I returned to the ER tonight and the doctor on call was my old GP. She prescribed a stronger antibiotic and an over the counter spray that might help me breathe at night. Here’s hoping I get some rest. Either way, the weekend is almost here.
