I can’t, for the life of me, get my replaced PC MC linked to my card. They even told me 1) it would automatically do so in 6-8 weeks, then they said 2) to get a new Optimum card, add the PC MC, then do a household.
Still not working, any ideas?

Bought 12 items@ SDM for 33.32$ used 10,000pts so paid 25.30$ got back $2 saved $27.08 in total. I earned 300pts.
The cashier kept telling me if I had $50 dollars I would earn whole tonne of pts. Which I replied I don’t have $50.

Can anyone tell me when redeeming points at SDM, do you get points from personal offers? Like, the ones when it's 600 points when you buy x item (not the per dollar spent ones)? I thought I read no, but im not 100%. What about in store items that have bonus points attached?
Please & Thanks!

For all those with a PC Financial MC, check your emails!
I got an email telling me that I am eligible for the promotion that was advertised in the Shoppers flyer for bonus points at Shoppers (Only till August 10th, but a nice little bonus). Depending on your card, you can get up to 135Pts/$1 until August 10th! I'm getting 115Pts/$1

^ Pls correct me if im wrong but im looking at their flyer from last week and if i am reading right the max number of 135 points per dollar is good until the end of the year
It kind of reads to me that the Aug 10 number is the time line to apply for a pc financial
Hmmmm an I looked at my email and it says I have the 135 until Aug 10th. Maybe I am having a seniors momentLast edited by Thatdone; Tue, Jul 17th, 2018 at 08:12 PM.

I read on another site about someone who tried this. I believe you somehow get 5% in points on SDM gift cards. The bonus offer includes; 15Pts/$1 Base SDM Points + 10Pts/$1 MC Points (But should be as high as 30Pts/$1 - Not sure if ad is wrong) + 90 to 110Pts/$1 Bonus Pts (Depending on card). Not certain how they calculate points on gift cards for this promo.

I remember seeing mention that for those Optimum or PC Plus cardholders still holding onto their old cards, they'll only be able to link them to a new PC Optimum card in-store and not online as of July 24.

@2shopmom; @johnb56789
Thanks for the heads-up about this, john.
I finally got the email and when i click on the box that says' already a customer' it reads:
Already a customer? You’re in luck.10, 2018.til August 10, 2018.
Earn these extra points on all purchases made with the applicable PC Financial Mastercard at Pharmaprix until August 10, 2018.
'All' sounds pretty inclusive to me and I did a quick browse of the 'legal notes' and didn't see anything about GCs being excluded.
Question: I have the basic card which = 115 points/ $1. I'm math-challenged today - that's $0.115 / 11.5 cents - is that correct? If so I'm still better off using my Tangerine cc which gives 2% cashback for me at SDM and other drug stores.
Please someone correct me if I'm wrongIts been a looong week!
Thanks,

Example if you buy a 50 gc: pc financial is .115 x 50= $5.75 or with tangerine cc 0.02 x 50=$1

PC offer is 11.5% back in points. Tangerine is 2% cash back. I guess it comes down to how much you value the cash over the points. To me they are very close to equal, but I understand not everyone feels that ways.

@Laurabelle 8, @LoucyDance
Thank you both for your replies. After posting i went to the gym and 2 min into biking, as soon as I got some blood into the ol' brain, i said to myself, Doh, it's $0.02/$1 vs $0.115 /$1, i.e 2cents/$1 vs 11.5 points per dollar which is the same ass 11.5cents/$1. Thanks, Laurabelle81 for doing the math re the GC for me. No contest - I'll take $5.75 in points vs $1 in cash any day!
I'm sleep-deprived - can you tell? <sigh>
