This notice is provided by President’s Choice Services Inc. (“we”, “us”), as sponsor of the PC OptimumTM Program (the “Program”). In order to better protect your PC OptimumTM account, we are amending some of the Program’s Terms and Conditions. These changes will better protect your point balances, safeguard against PC OptimumTM account takeovers and ensure we are able to proactively inform you about any suspicious activity on your account. As of October 31, 2024, the Terms and Conditions of the Program will reflect the following changes: Confirmation that our Program members may only have one open PC OptimumTM account at any given time. To prevent account takeovers, the option to create new Households will be removed, subject to the following exceptions: Program members who are primary or additional cardholders on a PC Financial® Payment Product may continue to join or form a Household exclusively with another primary or additional cardholder on the same PC Financial® Payment Product; If you currently have a Household of 5 members or less, there will be no changes and you will be able to continue to be a part of that Household until you leave it. However, if someone leaves the Household, you will not be able to add the same member or another person to your Household in the future. In the event that your participation in the Program is suspended, PC OptimumTM points in your account that have been accumulated as a result of an abuse of a Program privilege, failure to follow the Program Terms and Conditions or a misrepresentation may be forfeited and removed from your account. For members residing in Quebec: If you reside in Quebec, you will be informed if your account has been detected as compromised, and a notice will be sent out if your account is frozen or suspended for suspected fraudulent activity. The above changes are reflected in the "How Can I Participate?", "Pooling Your PC OptimumTM Points Through a Household", and “General” sections as outlined below. When you join a Household, all of the PC OptimumTM points in your Account are pooled with the points of all members of the Household. Any member of a Household may, at their sole discretion, redeem any or all of the PC OptimumTM points that are held by members of that Household, including points that were earned by other members of the Household. Each Household member is solely responsible for discussing the redemption of PC OptimumTM points with the other Household members. We accept no liability for any losses suffered by a Household member as a result of another Household member’s redemption of PC OptimumTM points. When a member of a Household redeems PC OptimumTM points, points will be deducted from each Household member’s Account in proportion to their points balance. A Household member can use their online PC OptimumTM Account to view the total balance of PC OptimumTM points that are available to Household members, as well as a history of point transactions, which may include total points earned, device used in transaction, location of transaction, date of transaction, total value of transaction, and offers for which points were redeemed or earned by Household members. If you reside in Quebec, you will be provided with a notice explaining the suspension or cancellation of your participation in the Program, as the case may be. If you reside outside of Quebec, your continued participation in the Program will constitute your consent to these changes to the Program Terms and Conditions, or any other aspect of the Program. If you do not agree to these changes, you may close your PC OptimumTM account and cancel your participation in the Program without cost or penalty. You will then have 45 days to redeem any PC OptimumTM points in your PC OptimumTM Account. Any PC OptimumTM points that are not redeemed after 45 days will be forfeited. If you reside in Quebec, you may refuse any or all of these changes and cancel your participation in the Program without cost or penalty by sending us a notice in writing indicating that you wish to close your account no later than 30 days after the amendments come into force by contacting us here. You will then have 45 days to redeem any PC OptimumTM points in your PC OptimumTM account. Any PC OptimumTM points that are not redeemed after 45 days will be forfeited. If we do not receive any such notice no later than 30 days after the amendment comes into force, your continued participation in the Program will constitute your consent to be bound to the amended Program Terms and Conditions.

Sorry that happened to you. Happened to us once before too. Asked to speak with a manager and made a deal to get the special price the next day, since it was a shortage issue. The manager worked the next day too and had to over ride at the cash. This was a few years ago.
