I am also hoping the bring it back .
Yesterday got a 2 Obusforme hot and cold massage Gun. And a few other thing to get to $400 so I could have redeemed 200k points.
I heard that people on instagram and other social media are bragging and posting that the bought big ticket items and are returning for the double points and are getting it on Gift cards . Eg the redeemed 400k for $800.00 off and is getting the full $800.00 back + taxes. My thinking is that this will ruined it for all those who really want to take advantage of this offer . We will have to wait and see.

Here's my SDM Optimum points redemption haul from yesterday. The SDM staff had been waiting for me to come back after having taken pictures of everything yesterday of what I was going to buy just to see how I managed today. I redeemed 200,000 points for $400 of stuff, and I still have 115,000 points remaining. Everything I bought was on sale, and I chose items that had the most economical price/ml (etc) compared to other products. They were quite impressed.

I went into SDM yesterday with high hopes and in the end only redeemed $20 in points (for $40)
They had trouble getting it to work but then figured it out in the end.
I got:
2 x mascara
2 x toothpaste (charcoal)
Always pads
milk (I had a coupon and needed something to get over the $ amount to be able to redeem)
I even looked at the gift sets for Christmas but nothing was appealing to me.
Still have $934 in points!!!

I did better than expected on my 2x redeem. For starters, I got 2x eggs at Loblaws to reach 40k points, then managed to find enough stuff to spend $80 without any stock-up purchases and without paying much more than usual for anything, 4 items totaling under $4.

I did end up running to Shoppers last night and purchased things like on sale toilet paper, kleenex and a few things for myself. Ended up spending 160,000 points for $320 off. ( We go thru a lot of kleenex due to my allergies)

Thought I'd share in case it helps someone else who orders from PC express. I ordered online from Independent (Loblaws store) yesterday when the new sale prices were in effect..I noticed a couple of items that were on sale for LESS than my Member pricing in my PC orders so I thought, cool, even better and placed my order. Ironically, I even took screen shots because the prices good and I wanted to share with some friends.
When I picked up the order today and looked at my receipt, I was charged prices higher than when I ordered them. I called PC Express and while I was on hold, I checked the prices on for Independent and the prices were indeed showing higher. When the agent answered, I said, "I guess I'm on a bit of a learning curve here, I thought the prices changed on Thursdays and were good for the week. I would like to know why the prices changed when I picked up my order"...he checked the order and replied "YOU DID ORDER THEM FOR A LOWER PRICE" and it shows on "your order history when you placed the order" and YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR A PRICE ADJUSTMENT"
I was honestly quite surprised that PC Express had my history "when the order was placed" this is a game changer for me if I can trust the system for pricing accuracy...(thinking that Thursday ordering might be a beneficial plan). I'm including the screenshots so you can see what I'm talking about.

Well, this price adjustment went a little bumpier than I thought. I received an email asking for screenshots of the prices.
I sent in the screenshots and then effectively rec'd a reply of "You rec'd a price lower than advertised" anyways
I replied back, I would like a supervisor to review this as I submitted screenshots and I would expect the prices to be honoured.
I rec'd an email from a different person stating that I'm receiving a refund of $4.01 for the amounts overcharged on the yogurt and syrup. ..I'm glad I didn't back down. I will definitely take screen shots of my order when placing it on a Thursday from now on
