I posted this a day or so ago but I think most people missed it because they were focused on setting up their new PCO accounts. But if you want the bottom line of the pros and cons of the new program, you might want to check it out.

I downloaded the app and linked up my Optimum Card. I only had an Optimum Card as we shared the PC Plus card which is linked to Mom's email.

Tomorrow I will try to do Mom's she thinks she has her Optimum password.

Waiting to see if we should link as a household or not yet. I have the same concerns others have mentioned will we both get offered or will we share offers?

I have to say I was surprised since I did not have a PC Plus card that I actually got a few good offers this week or at least offers I can use:

200 pts for $1 on Apple
200 pts for $1 on Pears
200 pts for $1 on Mushrooms

The rest of my offers are for items I have never purchased and probably won't ever purchase. But happy to see the produce offers and hope they continue.

I got these two offers for SDM:

• 5,000 points wus $30
• 4,000 points wus $20

They should stack, right?

I'm almost tempted to combine with the 6,000 points wus $20 on Pepsi/Lays, but I'm fat enough as it is.

When I fired up my PCO app this afternoon, the "5,000 points wus $30" offer had disappeared!!!

Had an offer for 6000 on $20 pepsi products plus 4000 on $10 snacks and 7500 for $30.
Got 14175 points. I put in a claim for the 4000 and it went instantly on to my account.
Total was $50 - 6.00 coupons for pepsi products.

I haven’t done anything yet.. a little confused! What is the best route for me to go? I have a PC Plus card, Optimum card, PC MasterCard (3 actually, 2 of which are linked to the same account), and I use the app and occasionally check my account online.

I just downloaded the new app and put in the card numbers as i have the same as you and it's all connected now.

Was told by a rep that they will be bring the functioms back to delete cards from your profile, as well as earn & redeem. Except it will be called earn & burn lol!

I have another question . I downloaded the app , connected my pc plus card and shoppers optimum card online and now I have a new pc optimum card on my cell phone.i used it to shop at no frills and everything went fine. Do I actually need to switch my old physical shoppers optimum card for a new one at store? Or can I just use my phone to scan my new pc optimum card and get the points? Thanks in advance for any help

Just to update those that were debating my question. i did go to Shoppers to take advantage of the three offers.....and their system was down.

i did three seperate points inquiries, one for each offer and they allowed all three, 3000 snacks, 6000 pepsi and 20x the points on $30 spend. i actually may have messed up the 20x the points because my receipt said i got 465 points and i just multiplied those by 20 and told them it should have been 9300 - i did not deduct the 465, i thought they would. So now i feel i stold 465 pts.

I assume this is with ref. to 'lotsasavings' question above ... "Next question . . . has anyone figured out how to set your card(s) for "earn only"?"

I sent a request early yesterday under 'Contact Us' asking how to modify linked cards/fobs to Earn Only vs wide open. No response yet, but not surprised give the mountain of irate account holders I'm sure they're dealing with.

This being a security issue, and with all the fuss about the program being plagued by fraudulent redemption's for Gift Cards mid last year, one would think that they would not have gone "live" without this important functionality. Pretty easy to loose a key fob, or even a card .... my wife and I have done both, so its good I had the ability to easily set them to Earn Only, but quickly change that when we wanted to do a big Redemption.
Can't do that now, as far as I can tell.
