PC Optimum - SDM and PC Unite Feb.1 2018!!!!

Fwiw, this is what was posted today on the PCO Facebook page. The main thing of note is that they say offers should be working next time.

We designed the PC Optimum program to ensure members can earn and redeem points at more places than ever before. Most personalized offers can be used at participating stores of the PC Optimum program (depending on the product’s availability). Some offers will be exclusive to certain locations and called out at the top of the offer (like those Shoppers Drug Mart exclusives you have come to love).

New offers are available every Thursday and will be automatically loaded when you log into your PC Optimum account through the website or app. Yes, it’s that easy! Your personalized offers may seem a bit more generic than you’re used to. But don’t worry, we'll get back to the personalized offer you love soon.

Need a reminder that new offers are waiting for you? Make sure your settings are enabled to allow email communications under “Account”, “Settings”, “Notifications Settings”.

We’ve heard some of you have had your offers disappear and there are two things to know.
1. After you use an offer, if will disappear from your list as you can only use them once.
2. Some offers are disappearing early!

Our team is currently addressing the issues related to your offers, it should be back to normal for your next round of offers next Thursday.

I don't know about redeeming at SDM, but I redeemed at No Frills and received points for a personalized offer

No more points for SDM gift cards. Is anyone getting the points when they redeem at SDM, like for example 200/$1 on No Name butter etc? I didn't, so I asked for them anyway and got them. We get these points redeeming at the grocery stores and always got product points that weren't multipliers when redeeming at SDM...sigh.

Question re: Candy/Snacks offer in the PCO program:

So I have an offer that will be available in 2 days on 1 account - 4000 pts wus $10 on candy or snacks. Looks like the offer will only be good for 24 hours.

A question for anyone who has had this offer and used it: The rule on the old Optimum program was that snacks included all food items except beverages. Yes, the only difference between the food/snack offer and the candy/snack offer was the candy/snack offer excluded beverages** I’m wondering - is it the same in the PCO program?

I need and was planning to pick up some eggs, so hope to do that as part of this offer (eggs worked for me with the candy/snacks coupon under the old Optimum program).

Just keep in mind: 4000 points is only the better deal until you hit $27 - then 10x is better.
Edit: Nope, it's $30 - I forgot that you get the base + 4,000

It's early but what PCO said about offers working properly this time isn't looking very good ATM. My account is showing 0 offers, and my wife's has 13 new ones but all generic. So obviously, offers are still disappearing early, and the new ones aren't looking personalized, not so far anyway.

My husband just got his new offers and they're generic. Mine don't usually appear until much later.

I just got my offers 19 in total, 15 new and 4 saved from last week ... they are getting better, 14 are things that I would buy and I have bought at RCSS before!! (No Shoppers offers)

Zero sdm offers. A small handful of offers are things that apply to me. The majority are still the $&?*ing shoelaces and $10 worth of plantains, and halls etc bullsh*t that I’ve marked as offers I don’t want to see more than once already.
