Are we allowed to do more than 1 transaction? I would like to redeem twice.

I'm not sure if they are tightening things up, but every year I do 3-4 redemptions on this weekend. Max 2 per individual store. so I do 2 at one store, then another 1-2 at another store.

This is in response to the poster who asked how to cover your tax with coupons.

Easiest way to do it is to figure out how much tax you will end up having to pay and use that same amount of $ in coupons. So when you make your list you don't substract the amount of the coupon off the price of the product.

Example: Spending $170. Let's say $150 of it is food on which there is no tax and $20 have tax; so $20 x $0.15 = $3 in tax. In that $20 you have three bottles of shampoo for which there are $1 off.....so that $3 pays your tax.

If the date of 24th that is being mentioned is this week, there is no chance I can make that up by then ... unless I get some smoking deals on Saturday and then do the redemption on Sunday!

Important thing to remember, is to have $170 before your coupons (redeemable product). Then have them enter the points you are spending, then hand over coupons to help cover the rest (tax and deposits). When they start entering coupons, the system won't let you redeem any points any more.

@nalaric - so then @Bargain Seeker's way will work if you have them take the points off first before handing over the coupons? Because when I read her post I thought, no you need to spend $173 to get your full $170 redemption value.

Ok, so you're saying if the total is $170 + $3 tax, it will take off the $170, then you can hand over the $3 in coupons to cover the tax? Did I get that right? If so I'm going to plan to do this!

I think this is something new since they changed the system earlier this year/late last year - can someone confirm?

    Thanks
