Air Miles Shop the Block is Back!!! up to 2000 Air Miles (Nov 14 to Dec 14, 2017)

Yes, it's probably all about marketing.

Air Miles was never than big in ON before, at least grocery store wise.

West always had very good offers with SAFEWAY grocery stores, while we never had this SAFEWAY chain in ON.

Only METRO used to offer AM on groceries in ON & they were not that great with AM offers. Sobeys only recently started offering AM, before that they only had Club Sobeys Points, but now they have turned to AM.

So maybe AM is trying to compensate for that now, to make AM more popular in East with very easy offers.

I did the Shop the Block last year. I will do it again this year since there are 7 coupons I can use.

A word or warning: Save your receipts. Last year I only received 1000 air miles because on of my offers never went through. You will receive the points in February or March and by that point I could not find my receipts. This year I will save all my receipts until I get my points.

Done 4/7 all at Sobeys, sadly, I didn't get to $80 since they only had 4 of the All Bran Multi Crunch cereal that I had FPCs for. But still managed 4, just 3 more offers to go, and all easy redeems!

I'd say yes as the cashier will give you the gc and the air miles are something seperate

Did the Metro Shop the Block offer today. A little worried about how everything showed up, but hopefully it will still work fine.
I gave the cashier the printed coupon and she entered the PLU for the offer, showing as Marketing Promotion. However, no miles show as earned at all.
But that is 5 of 7 DONE, gonna finish off with Sobeys and Foodland redeems in December when the coupon becomes valid.
