It depends on what you want to order. I collected amazon for the longest time. Then I realized for what I want, an DSLR camera, there isn't anything on amazon.ca that I want and have just been using the $300 ish that I have saved on there for stuff for my bf, and have been starting up my amazon.com pile for two months or so.

Just make sure you enter the GC code into your amazon account right away, then the funds will always be there!!

Also if you decide to go with .com, make sure the item you want will ship to Canada (unless you have a way of getting it from the States). I was looking at some of the electronics from .com and they cannot be shipped outside of the US.

It tells you on the page for the item under Product Details there's a blurb about shipping. A lot of stuff can't be shipped to Canada.

I often wonder if I should have started with .com because they have so much more.. but free is free, and I have $70 in .ca now. I'm going to save for a kitchen aid mixer.. hopefully they will go on sale some time. They are cheaper at .com but I would bet the shipping would be a lot because they are so heavy.
