What a joke.. I thought the whole point of the site was to promote searching!!! Hence why you are rewarded when you do.. I'm sure that I do over 100 LEGIT searches a day because i'm on the computer all day long at work and home! Now I have to worry about this... oh well I think i've earned about 5 swagbucks in a week..

Agreed, that just doesn't make any sense...

If they want to restrict people to a certain number of searched per day, then come right out and say it. That just makes no sense what-so-ever...

I read on facebook, that your acct can be deactivated if you do too many searches per day. they were saying to keep searches under 100.

this seems odd because if they want to promote the site you think they would want you to use it more! i do way over 100 searches a day

I think the person that stated this on facebook did 100 searches right in a row, several times and got deactivated. He then got an email from TSG stating that he needs to stay under 100 searches per day, but that may just have been a restriction placed on his account because he was a "known" abuser.

I do over 100 searches a day, and have never had a problem. I don't get the rules page or anything. So, I think that as long as you're not abusing the system, you should be safe

it was the first time i ever heard of anyone being deactivated for over-searching. usually you get that annoying terms and conditons page, if you do too many IN A ROW.

I did post on fb that the #1 reason that I know of for having an acct deactivated is more than one acct per household. But then this person said that their's was deactivated for searching in excess of 100x a day.

which didn't make sense to me either, because i can do 30 searches just looking fora recipe for supper. i imagine mine went over 100 some days as well.

but it's just something to keep in mind. what i have been doing is my regular search til i get my one sb and then switch over to google or another engine if i have to do alot. because it's hours and hours before i win again anyway.

i think i'll try to find that converstation and paste it here, and see wot u guys think. i know some of you don't have facebook.

I usually get my 1 sb in the morning then wait a few hours sometime around lunch time or supper time and get a few more and sometimes the code.

I do the same thing. Once I've won, I give SB a break for a bit then go back until I win again and repeat.

I'm sure the system can recognize valid searches versus people searching for the sake of searching.
