I saw this too late, but check out the huge protests on the blog regarding the loss of physical cards for starbucks and subway! I think we'll hear something regarding the re-instatement of these, or at the least, a way to reload cards online. This change does not appear to be really popular at the moment.
I've noted that some of the e-cards must be used at the online store and others (Like Macy's) are printable and can be used in the stores. Teh printable e-card has a readable bar code on it, which was simply scanned at the Macy's I went to. Using the printable e-card was no problem at all. I happened to use my entire e-card in the transaction, but in talking to the store staff about it, they said that if I had only used part of it, they would give me the sheet of paper back to use again. Also, my receipt showed how much was remaining to be used on my e-card. It isn't impossible to think that more companies (of all types) will go to e-cards versus physical cards.
Here's some hope for you all: PizzaHut.com specifically states that it takes e-cards, but PizzaHut.ca does not specifically discuss it. However, the e-card information on the Swagbucks site doesn't state that it is only valid in the US. I've e-mailed PizzaHut Canada to ask, but haven't had a reply yet.
I'll let everyone know if I hear.

-2 swagstakes ( theory of a deadman contest and 100 buck giveaway) each 1 buck
-an autographed poster from Jason Damato ( similar sound to jack johnson and ben harper) 35 bucks
redeemed total of : 127 bucks
I have 19 left over.

I have a question about the toolbar - do those who use one, find that they get more swagbucks than by using the search feature on the page? Just trying to figure out how I can increase my points, since NS keeps stealing everyone's friends :P

Unless they changed the format, I think it's just for convenience. They do once in a VERY blue moon put a free code on the toolbat though.

Newsnakeowner: Normally 4 to 7 days to be delivered to your inbox, but with the change in the delivery method of e-cards, it's hard to say. If you still have nothing in 2 weeks, e-mail them and they'll respond within 24 hours. Also, don't forget that they aren't e-mailing e-cards anymore and are just posting them to a new page in the "my account" section.
aw that sucks i liked the $5 ones they were cheap and easy to get enough points for

I like the new site, a few bugs here and there like when you type in a Swag Code, sometimes the message box is covered up. I just hope the gift cards will come in order from now on. I would also like to see Amazon.com gift cards come in higher ammounts. If they came in $10.00 it would be easier, and plus if you only get one what can you really get!!! Just a thought.

CRAP! Should've ordered my Starbucks GC yesterday or before...now it costs more and is in $10. 130 points for $10? With Amazon it's 90 for $10 (or 135 for $15!)
