I am having a heck of a time finding a pallet of matte eye shadows. I am older, and have read anything with shine in it will not do me favours. I am blonde with blue eyes, looking for a neutral pallet - any suggestions out there? So many brands out there!

I find MAC to be a miss with a lot of matte shadows, even though their shadow refills are reasonably priced. Might be worth a try though.
I had never tried Annabelle before, but was pleasantly surprised with a single matte shadow I picked up in Taupe. I might try their other shadows.
NYX matte shadows are good.
All the expensive palettes lately are full of sparkle, and I don't do intense sparkle everywhere. I love a matte eye with some shimmer on the lid when I feel like doing something extra.
