I gave the rest of the new bottle to my neighbour. The neurologist left a prescription for a preventative medication, but neglected to sign it. I called my pharmacy to confirm, then called the receptionist back. The orescription was for a medication that I have already tried without success. I told the receptionist and reminded her of the medication he had discussed with me at my appointment. She took note and told me that he wrote the prescription without even having my file in front of him. I guess he does what he wants on Fridays...like my appointment at the beginning of the month. My pharmacy should receive the correct prescription on Monday. I’m hoping that it works for me. We’ve been doing more research on the suggested medication and it might be a bad idea with my blood thinner. Here we go again...I’ll have to call the office on Monday and see what the other options are.
Sorry to hear....that must be so frustrating for you.

Just got in from the hour drive home from Toronto -ahhh Sebastian is so sweet we babysat him so daughter could go out ,mind you he slept 2 and a half hours ,he is talking more , daughter made 2 homemade pizza,s yummm love her pizzas, relaxing now on Monday I babysit the baby cara for an hour and a half while daughter-in-law goes to the dentist. My daughter loved the fleece pants I got Sebastian in size 2 from old navy I paid 4.80 and a pair of socks .74 ,as Sebastian is 16 months but grew out of his 18 to 24 month pants as he is a solid toddler boy ,I love to pick up the grandkids a few smaller ,cheaper items as I see them -my mom always helped my hubby and I out like this so I am following her suit as you are only a grandparent once in life ,plus it was nice my daughter had us for supper she even put out popcorn ,crackers cheese and a few cashews for us to snack on while we were babysitting .

Friday's trip to London went well. My Doctor's appointment went better than expected. A side stop at the casino netted us an extra $300.00 which was nice. So basically our lunch ended up being free.

We picked up six more bags of free Iam's Cat Food...loving these FPC's. We bought wipers for both the car and truck for $36.24 as we used $40.55 e CTM on our card. No impulse buying either as we drove right by Picard's Peanuts even though it was tempting.

Three trades of Goldfish coupons to mail out today. I might try them as $1.50 coupon off is good if I can get them on sale like others have for $1.66.

    Happy Monday!

Brought all my food to work for the day. Going to the gym early afternoon during my lunch break. No $ will be spent today.
Busy work week for me so at least the week shall go by fast.
It's a dry day here so far. No idea what the weather is calling for. It will be a surprise.

Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes! I loved my Longos raspberry key lime birthday cake and made a pot of English Breakfast tea too! My best friend got some cake to take home and my cousin & I had a cake date this morning. I'd love to have a different cake from Longos every month but my budget would not be so thrilled. The cake was worth the three weeks of counting down to pickup time!
Ms. Sunshine must be taking a personal day-hardly a glimmer of her rays today. Big curly snowflakes started to drop around 10am today and have been steadily falling this afternoon. Bit slippery-even one of my buses had a bit of trouble stopping at a bus stop due to the snow but the public works sanding/plowing trucks are very visible on the main roads in Hamilton.

Have plans to window-shop and walk around downtown Toronto on Wednesday (my get out of town daytrip gift to myself and finally see Uniqlo, Muji and other stores' wares) and attend an evening panel presentation. I will definitely stop at a couple of libraries too to check out what's new on the shelves and read of course. GO Train or bus-have not decided which one to take into the big city. If the weather's not sloppy, I'll make a trip to King Textiles too and see what's new in fabrics as well.

Last week, I was eyeing videos of Qoobo, the robotic therapy cat for folks who cannot have pets in their houses but like the stroking fur and swishing tail effects provided by the fake cat. I received a fake fur throw and its texture reminds me of silky hair/fur, so after I launder the throw, I'm going to roll it, tie the big canvas ribbon around it and call it my cat-I will pet it every day and at bedtime.

I am still going to track cat food FPCs and coupon offers in inserts as they are handy for friends with real cats.^-^

It seems a chiffon cake is going to be ideal with tea tonight and I have some eggs to use up as well.

afternoon all. Busy , busy day . But I suspect it going to be that kinda week.
my oldest had to go to foodland and get a few things for my mom.. so she got me the paper towels .. sale 5.00 with 20 airmiles if you buy 2.. and I had a 2,00 off coupon for if you bought 2.. I am doing well with the airmiles at foodland lately.

and I had a shop credit from SB. so first and second goal done.

sent off several envelopes for coupon trades... I am eager to get that started more.
I sent a message to someone that wanted to be a coupon buddy.. but I have gotten no response... thats ok. I got this.

plan for the night is to chill. fold the last basket of laundry... do a bit more laundry....lol....
set up some sticker crafts... for my DC kids. and stay warm.. we have snow ...

The good part of my day - the community physiotherapist came to see me today, she was very helpful and informative, stayed 1 1/2 hours.

The horrid part of my day - Taffy, our cat died.
