Yes, it is okay to freeze flour tortillas. It is very important that you
let them thaw in the refrigerator for a day or two before using them. Flour tortillas
should not be thawed in the microwave.

    (that's off of the internet)

They are packaged really well and I'm sure the sauce will freeze well too.

Donating short expiry items may not be a good idea unless you live in a small town where the food banks have high turnaround. Probably won't get out of the food bank warehouse quickly enough

My wife has dropped short term items at a woman's shelter in Richmond Hill a couple of times ( I believe it was actually the head office)

When I say short exp it's Feb1/18 and we have a local food bank that is right up the street from me that have lots of clients and my DD volunteer there and know that the items like bread rolls and baked goods are the first to go. I also go to a youth shelter and the always appreciated my donations

I’ve made $19 with the Tia Rosa kits in the last two weeks using FPCs hoping for the offer again this week! Didn’t know metro carried them!
