Zellers: 50% off one item, limit one per customer (Dec 26-31)

how's your taxes based on? mine was from the original price, I bought tassimo for $48 while my friend got 43 i think cant remember thats cause mine was ring in with the orignal price and taxes based on it, minus the 50% off coupon. what should be the correct way? I went to customer service to compare my receipt with my friend, cs said, it should have been based on the original price, he said, he will need to charge my friend additional $4, but i said no, not out fault. any thoughts?

Mine tax is after the minus 50% coupon amount !

I got diapers and also used a coupon. Didnt know we were not supposed to. She said I was the first one at her till to use the coupon for everyday things lol. I think tomorrow I will look at the bed in a bags. We desperately need new stuff for our bed.

You might need to check the laws in your province. I looked at Quebec for myself and it appears that stores can do it either way depending on how they do accounting. Which is odd, but that's the government for you.

And the coupon does state taxes applied on full amount.

I was looking to use the 50% off coupon. I found the COSCO Highrise Booster Seat discouonted from $27.97 to $8.39. Used the 50% for another $4.20 off. Zellers Calgary SE.

Ours only had the Classic ...which doesnt qualify for the MIR. It was 106.xx after the coupon. Bf had already bought me one for xmas so we returned it to wal mart where he bought it and shaved100.00 off my xmas gift :D

I believe from what I have been reading that it is 1 item only at 50% off but some people are using more than 1 coupon or per family member.

I did manage to get batteries with mine. Did not know they were excluded. Saw a sign at the display by toys that the 12 and 20 packs of AA batteries were B1G1F. Picked up two packs, headed to the cashier, asked if they were on sale. They did not ring in as being on sale, but they were clearly marked as being on, so she did a manual override ~ or whatever magic they must do~ and then gave her the coupon. No problems.
