With so many Canadian retailers switching to 5¢ bags, I was wondering if any retailers in the USA have the same policy (mainly New England and upstate NY)?
I'll be taking some insulated bags but wondered if some regular ones would be useful as well.

In NY, the Aldi stores charge for bags.
And in Maine, the Goodwill did.

Even though Black Friday is a couple of weeks away, some US stores have started their deals yesterday. Almost all the flyers have been leaked: https://blackfriday.com
Lowes USA is having deals for the month.
Target and Walmart are competing with Amazon by having employees going throughout the store with a mobile hand held 'cash register' so people don't have to line up. They can check out the items in their cart with the mobile cashiers.
Hmmm, maybe we should take a trip and check out the US sales

Target had a 30% off sale in most departments.
Going toward the back of the store, found 50% off and 70% off deals
4 pack Target washcloths, reg. $4.99, clearance 1.50 or 0.38 each which is cheaper than the dollar store
luggage department had a 30% off Cartwheel app sale, on all luggage
found clearance suitcase reg. 59.99, sale $39.99
paid $28 which was cheaper than Costco USA
BTW, did not have US internet or the Cartwheel app, but a store manager can authorize the cashier to give a customer the Cartwheel discount, on a discretionary basis. Nice to know.
