Got "Get 4000 PC Optimum points when you spend $10 on snacks or candy" Flash offer valid/expires today. We are having company this week and weekend so this was very timely!! Shoppers had Ruffles potato chips on sale at 2/$5.00 and get 500 points when you buy two. So for the $10 I spent on chips, I got 5150 points back!!

Also, two things that I really like about the new program are:

1) that the special points offers like this are awarded right away

2) that it is easy to calculate the amount of points earned per amount redeemed. I know people who have been saving SDM points for a long time could do the math but for me it was harder

I had the same offer and did exactly the same transaction! I've had this offer (sometimes 3,000, sometimes 4,000 points) every week since the new program started. I actually have it again today for 3,000.
