I received 650 AM's in my account yesterday which was a nice surprise although I am pretty sure I only did two offers but it is possible I did use my CC enough for a third offer I had.

That's easy to check, go to your credit card statement and you can figure out if you used enough to qualify.

I just assumed that if you can receive air miles from there that you could also redeem

After I read your post I phoned them out of curiosity and they told me no as well.

Good thing to know as I need a new oven for down stairs and was starting to look for ovens to go on sale there and use up a lot of those points as well

oh wow! chalk me up as someone who was unaware of that....we don't shop at Lowes often but now I won't look dumb attempting to redeem next time we are there. Thanks for posting about that @eyafitz

It's a good idea to check out both the list of merchants that give points, and the one showing those that allow redemptions in order to know which places you shop don't redeem. In my case, the one that comes up most often is LCBO.

Has anyone tried to redeem the bonus cash miles? I tried at Rona yesterday and it was declined. Spoke to customer service this morning and apparently yesterday the Air Miles system was down for the afternoon. Tried again this morning and only allowing me to redeem my balance prior to the bonus points being added. Tried customer service again and they are trying to resolve the problem. Just a heads up if anyone was counting on redeeming the points now you may have a problem.

Thank you I had planned on redeeming this past weekend but ended up pushing plans to next. I hope they have it figured out by then
