Metro personal coupons now digital - load to AM card

New with Metro, you can now load your personalized coupons onto your Air Miles card (like Sobeys, etc.). More info here: https://www.metro.ca/en/add-coupons-card.

I have been waiting for this! I found that it usually wasn't worth the effort before to print a couple of 40 cent coupons, but now maybe I'll actually use some. And hopefully there will be some special offers to promote the new system.

thank you for posting @fegonia ! Although this weeks coupons were not anything I will use I like that going forward I only have to check on Thursdays and click to load them. No more printing.

yes this is nice as I don't have a printer (they should have done this ages ago)-so just loaded a few incase I am near a metro and their is a good airmiles deal never know

Yes, go to the Metro website (https://www.metro.ca/en) and click 'sign up' at the top right corner to create an account.

Yes, I am happy with the change in coupons! If they're loaded, then they're ready to use on the Air Miles card.

Coupons are not loaded to the card. they are just loaded into the app. You must have each coupon scanned from the app. Not a very good system.

I do not have the app, only the physical card. I load all the coupons when they go live on Thu regardless if I will use them or not. It is nice not having to print out any AM coupon which I sometimes forget to bring with me to the store. But if there is anything I liked about the old system, it was the longer expiry.

No app on my end either but I do the same as you.

@jmalias , the info page says, "The coupons added to your AIR MILES® Card will instantly be applied to your eligible purchases by showing your PLASTIC or mobile card at checkout." You don't need to have the app. (https://www.metro.ca/en/add-coupons-card).
