got this tassimo at a yard sale & am cleaning it but the lights are flashing red, meaning the water level is low?..its full, maybe its defective , i read its a magnet issue.... gonna read the manuel on line & see whats what.

i know alot of us here use the tassimo...any advice?
k...so i took the thing apart, cleaned it really well, & am running a cleaning cycle with the plastic t-disk. the water is not very hot....hmmm.

You don't need to buy descaling tabs.....you can simply use white vinegar (full the reservoir) and then being the cleaning cycle. I typically leave the vinegar in for a couple a hours to dissolve any minerals that made have collected into the unit. Make sure you flush the machine several times with fresh, clean water afterwards because no one likes sour coffee.
As for it not heating, it's possible the element burnt out. That means you are left with a glorified room temperature water pourer.

Had to look at the third Instruction pdf (first two are pictographs mostly) to see that the red light is a descaling matter -item 7e in the manual.
DescalingYour TASSIMO machine has an automaticdescaling program. If Q Descale icon lightsup while the appliance is on, the descalingprogram must be run immediately. If thedescaling process is not run as instructed,the appliance may not function properly.
Umm the manual states under Descaling to never use vinegar or vinegar based products:
Do not drink the liquids.– Never interrupt the descaling program.– never use vinegar or vinegarbasedproducts.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
