DS is in a tournament today (another one!) I was able to catch one game but can't go back for the championship game that they made!! oh well at least I saw the one game.

just weeded the front around my small plants and scrubs ,hung a load on the line and changed my family room a bit hubby and I carried a large chair and put it in the front of the house opposite the love seat -in the family room I know have one chair and a couch -I really need new furniture as the leather couch(12 years old) has a rip in it (I keep it covered) and the vinyl chair is starting to peel a bit ,they are still comfy ,but it may have to wait another year as we may need a new roof -home ownership is not to thrifty for us this year -mind you we put off doing anything to the house last year as daughter needed us which was more important to me

-when I took a fruit tray to son's yesterday I used 10.00 p.c optium points and only paid 9.99 for the fruit tray and 2 loaves of fresh bread

Spend 1 hour outside on the balcony with a casal domingo cooler lol.It is a so beautifull bright,and sunny and not cool at all day.I miss to have a bbq too...I miss my home and the outside space today ... Anyway guess what we will eat for supper? Correct answer is janes chicken strips with honey,sweet and sour sauce and sour cream with Cavendish patatoes wedges with sour cream and maybe an other casal domingo. Have an awesome evening and night all!!!

I'd love to have a Casal Domingo cooler this week! Such a long time since I enjoyed one (maybe two years ago).

Good morning! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

I had to pick up my mother at the casino Sat morning (she stayed at the hotel with a friend and can not drive right now (pretty sure she won't again) so between my sister and I we try to help her get around) So I met her and her friend for breakfast (free with coupons) I had free slot play for that day (some offer) Well- I got very lucky Had a jackpot payout and lets just say I could book a trip to Hawaii or something the like and pay for it!! But I will be smart with it. Put a large credit on my credit card and some in bank. Will figure out the plans for the rest.

We stopped at Costco on way home and only filled up with gas and spent $102 between the 2 of us.
I did decide to shop on Sat at SDM for 20x the points (splurged on fancy sunscreen 1 for me and 1 for the kids, Downy, eggs, free toothpaste with couponsetc. Then Sunday I decided to redeem $60 in points ($75 value) and got: make up, Face cream, a few items for my Mother's day bag for my mom, Toilet paper x 4, Box of Pinty's chicken, box of Leadbetters burgers, free toothpaste with coupons.
We had a nice steak dinner at my moms with cheesecake and fresh strawberries for dessert.

Looking forward to a good week and really clean house before the long weekend!

Congratulations on your big win! You had posted how you wanted to save for a big trip and you got that goal just about done!

I will have to recontact purina because its been 2 weeks since I called them and no sign of the 2 promised fpcs for proplan....I hope to not receive expired coupons or to be remplaced by Something else.

I did a little bit of cleaning of the freezer to have space for 2 more janes chicken strips boxes I am so frustrated by a confusion of a coupon in a trade I receive it is not good on the products I thougt this is false advertisement and the person (cannot named) ...dont want to change the trade or offer compensation.Never I will trade again with her,..never

Jean Coutu did not want to accept my 6 vim 1,50$ coupons for the 1,00$ vim sale because the value is higher than the product and I cannot pm at wal mart because they dont carry the small size so annoyed......

Laundry is on a good roll. Putting it away as I go. Kitchen is clean. Fridge too. Tossed lots of old stuff. Took the 4 bottles of ketchup and put in 1 bottle. Washed shelves and organized stuff.

I've run out of laundry detergent so the household will have to make do with Woolite detergent unless someone else will buy it (so far not happening). Had a good morning line drying some laundry and collecting branches for tomorrow's collection. Happy I have enough wild blueberries to last for two weeks and some pantry staples to get through this week. Not sure sure about weekend meal plans-would love a cold drink or special baked treat. To be continued.

Did the a quick visit of stores on the Mountain. The Pier 1 store on Upper Wentworth (Hamilton) has signs saying it's closing in 14 days. Saw a dining table I'd like-right size and can take out the middle extension to make it a table for 4. Wish I had a roll of bills right now to buy it and some chairs, though I would like to have a folding chair from home compared for height with the wooden chairs (mixed styles but similar stains) at the table-noticed that the table clearance seems smaller between the model and wooden chairs than with the old table and chairs at home.

The wind's been picking up after 6pm and the air feels cooler. It's getting gustier and yours truly still has some trek time to deal with to get home. If I can find one more McCafe sticker (did find one a little while ago), I may be able to score a hot chocolate drink on the way home.

Missed the chance to line dry clothes today as I was at my moms until late but DS needs his uniform washed so into the dryer it goes. But gas was 10cents cheaper and she has an gas station at the independent so extra PCO earned. Made it a little less painful.
I went to a fancy brunch with my boys yesterday and then headed down to my moms. It was a sad day for all but my brother was able to take the afternoon off and we spent it with mom and my SIL joined us.

Some stuff has happened recently with my family, siblings, etc. I’m trying to support them however I can from this distance. Prayers would help. It looks like it will be a long process.
